Fighting back the instinctive urge to flee a large, charging animal, you decide to stand your ground and brace for an attack. The dog does not disappoint, as when it gets within a few feet of you the creature leaps toward your throat with a snarl! Managing to catch your forearm behind the front legs of the beast, you let its weight push you to the ground. Not letting the momentum go to waste, you kick upward with your knees and catch the dog in its midsection, sending it flying over you and straight into the wall. Quickly finding your feet again, you pivot and prepare to dodge another attack, but upon setting eyes upon your adversary you find that the trip it took into the wall has left it in an unconscious heap. Though quite proud of yourself, you figure that in spite of the immediate threat having passed you should vacate the general area before the mongrel wakes up again.
Glancing around, you find that your possible courses of action have not changed much, though you no longer feel the same frantic sense of urgency pushing you to make a choice. A red door and a green door sit opposite each other at the dead end you have reached, and the hallway stretches back the way you originally came.
