The night went perfectly smooth, Alec routinely watches every half-hour for signs of trouble but there was none to find. The fields were empty save for the cattle herd sleeping under the moonlight. Alec was starting to get irritated of doing nothing, he missed his phone where he could just fiddle with it to pass the time and kill his boredom. He rests his head upon his hands as he listens to the chirping insects of the night while his body shiver with ever slight breeze.
Hours passed, still nothing yet to be found. Alec lazily sits near the campfire, playing with his adventuring card. He had hoped to learn more about it but he could find something. He looks again at his stats and focuses on his Special Skill: **Possession**.
'Just what are you?' Alec questioned, if he can find out something about this skill, it would be super helpful to Alec deal with dangerous creatures he might be dealing with soon. He quickly looks around the fields one last time to see if anything was out of place. It was still the same peaceful vibe just like before and decided it might be the perfect time to learn more about his ability.
He stands up and gather everything he knows on about his ability, which isn't a lot. He only knows that he has to say the name of his ability. Alec starts to psych himself up and close his eyes to begin concentrating. He begins focusing what this power was, 'Possession... Possession..... Maybe it has something to do with things. Like you now possess something like a..... '
"Sword!" As he says this, he extends his arms out, imagining what holding a sword would look like. He waited for seconds before opening his eyes to find nothing. He then realized he didn't say **Possession**.
He tried again and start imagining a simple short sword in his mind and yell out, "Possession!" He opened his eyes to see if it worked this time but to no avail. Disappointed, he sits down again near the campfire.
"So it has nothing to do with Item Summoning. Think Alec, Think! What else links to posses..." Suddenly it all clicked, If it is what Alec think it is. This has something to do with ghost and how they control others, but there was no way to find out. He needs to test it on someone. He scans for potential guinea pigs but finds no one but the cows in their blissful sleep.
"Nothing but cows, great..." Alec detested the idea of possessing the cow. Although it might be easier, he decides that there is a possibility he might be trapped since his ability requires him to 'say' its name and cows don't normally say words. He might consider it once he figures out how to use his ability without literally saying 'Possession.'
"I'll have to start with something familiar like people or something that can talk." The city was hours away and he can't afford to go there and risk leaving the farm alone for hours. He could search for subjects couple of miles away but still within earshot of the farm which would let him arrive at the farm quicker but arriving too late to protect the cows from the sudden night raids.
