The August Issue of Animalia Magazine was a little delayed because it was waiting a bit for the IAC to finish up before doing any related articles. Fortunately, there was plenty of things to talk about because, even though Animalia has already been around for five years, there were still those who were making assumptions that were either simply wrong or totally outlandish.
---
One article talked about future Animalia colonies, where they were most likely to be, and what the overall "theme" would be. While the overall "structure", as well as its cost would be prohibitive in making a colony everywhere it was suggested, as a nice middle ground it was decided on "regional" colonies. Part of the the plan was due to several Animalian couples already living (or planning to live) on the West Coast of the US, and another thing was the unintentional rise in number of tourists wanting to see/become Animalians.
As part of the same article, there was a preview of the planned French Colony. What was eventually decided on for an overall theme was a bit more "sexually open Victorian Europe" (Which was only mentioned in the digital copy for premium subscribers). What was featured in both the physical and digital versions was an article that talked about the evolution of the various different styles of "ballroom gowns". Some styles were similar to what Animalians found comfortable, such as "backless gowns", while others were downright ridiculous and most likely wouldn't be returning.

Another article covered the results of the IAC games, such as who won how many medals at which events. While there were some that were understandable, there were a few that were unexpected. Olympe, who had joined up at the last minute, had actually done a lot better than she, or anyone else, expected in Track and Field and brought home a few medals, even though none of them were gold.

While things weren't as busy as usual due to the pandemic, it was slowing down, even with the "pandemic of stupidity" (as one person called it).
