Professor Kao grabbed the beast-cubes and then tossed one saying "Now this is the first BeastMon I'll have available that is incredibly rare, although inexperienced in combat..." The beastmon cube burst open revealing some sort of weird looking rat that was called Ratious, then he showed off the second one which was some sort of Robin looking bird with what looked like a bandit mask called Robie. So far pretty unenthusiastic... These looked like something you could randomly find in a city... and for some reason he called these pokemon "Seed-type" and "Bubble-type" respectfully when neither were particularly seedy or bubbly... Well Robie was seedy in a way, but not like plant seedy.
"And finally the Spark-type..." the Beastmon box then burst open showing a chinese looking dragon with scales that sparkled like... no they weren't like diamonds they were diamonds... The bird had let out a chirp, and the rat squeaked a bit however the dragon let out a roar that seemed to shake the fabric of reality. "Chronalgia..."
You said "Well... since I'm picking first I'll pick Chronalgia..." wondering what the heck was going on with this reality... It was obviously based on the game, but this looked like some sort of final boss rather than a starter..." The starters seemed to vanish, and the professor was holding the cubes and handed Chronalgia's cube to you.
Rick said "Well since you picked the Spark-Type I'll pick the Bubble-type Robie! Let's have a battle to practice BeastMon Brawls!" You didn't seem to be given much of an option so you figured out how to throw the cube when letting Chronalgia out, and Ricky did the same letting the little Robie out. In your mind was a list of moves for Chronalgia who was currently level 5. "Bash, Yell, Time Manipulation, and it felt like there should be a fourth one but there wasn't."
Rick yelled "Robie Stab!" as the bird seemed to go in to stab Chronalgia with it's beak.
"Umm... Chronalgia Time Manipulation?" You said unsure what would happen, but Chronalgia seemed to glow with some ethereal energy which got directed to Robie which seemed to shrink as it's feathers turned to down, and then it got encased in an egg shell. "...Um... Does that mean I win?"
Professor Kao said "Well... he still has a BeastMon out technically... and Eggs don't have HP and it's HP isn't 0 so it hasn't fainted yet... and you can't KO eggs... So the battle isn't over yet."
"Chronalgia!" you yelled "Time Manipulation! Go ahead and hatch that egg and then finish this battle!" Chronalgia heard your order and glowed with energy again and time started to fast forward in such a way that...
