Sally quickly made her way home, making sure not to be seen by too many. She'd barely been able to put her top on again, tying it under her new fin. She got home, calling out into the house. "Hello?? Mom? Dad?". With no response, she realised that she was at home alone. A relief. She quickly went to her room, throwing her beach bag on her bed and going into the bathroom.
She got in front of the mirror, standing in profile to it to see her fin better. Since the beach, it seems to have gotten slightly discoloured, turning from her skin tone into a slightly darker, grayer colour. She continued to examine her new dorsal fin for a while, before her mouth began to salivate. Images of fish started to fill her head, and her stomach grumbled. She was hungry.
She went to her kitchen, opening the fridge. Clearly her family needed to go shopping, because there wasn't much left. She then checked the pantry, glossing over the different cans and jars, before her eyes caught on the tin packages of sardines. Her mouth watered, and she grabbed it greedily from the pantry, cracking it open and immediately popping a filet into her mouth, swallowing it whole. A smile slowly creeped it's way onto her lips, as she licked them with her tongue, which seemed to be slightly longer and pointier. As she soon had consumed the entire package of sardines, her hands and feet started to feel slightly itchy, especially the space in between her fingers and toes.
