"Why don't you go first Brandon?" Gina asked. "It is your game."
"Yeah, you go first Brandon!" Amber cheered me on as if I was a part of the football team.
I sighed and said "Fine, fine, I'll go first. Just stop bugging me, OK?"
I took the dice in my hand and took a deep breath. I felt uneasy with the dice in my hand, as if they were about to curse me. *No, it's just a game,* I thought, not knowing how wrong I even was. I cupped my hands and shook them for a bit, and then, I let them go.
The dice rolled on the board as everyone's gaze was excitedly aimed at them. After what seemed like an eternity, they finally landed on a 5 and a 2.
"Seven!" Yelled Amber. I don't think I'll ever not be shocked whenever I hear her voice out of nowhere.
As I went to move my piece like any other normal person, my body froze when the most peculiar thing happened. My piece moved. On it's own.
We all stared at the board in silence for around... 15 seconds. The silence was broken by a laugh as our attention turned towards Gina who had a huge smile on her face.
"Magnets!!" She proclaimed. "The piece moved because of magnets! That's genius!"
"Uh, the board is as 2 dimensional as Flat Stanley. There's no way that thing moved because there were magnets in the board." Thomas objected.
"Well duh, the magnets are probably like, super fucking small or something." Amber interjected, obviously siding with the more reasonable approach. "Let's keep playing, I'm getting really tired and it hasn't even been my turn yet.
Everyone looked at me, and I snapped out of my trance. *Yeah, it was probably magnets,* I told myself, once again going with reason and not my gut. I looked to see where my space landed, and saw that the color was Orange. What did the rules say orange spaces do again?
There was no time to think on that, so I just grabbed the top card from the pile, (which I could've sworn wasn't orange a minute ago), and read aloud what I saw.
ANIMAL SPACE
Body Parts: Head Accessory & Ears
Animal: Stag
Stag +2
"The fuck does Stag +2 mean?" I barely had time to ponder my question before I suddenly had a splitting headache. It was the worst one I had in a while. It felt like my head was about to burst open.
I put my hands on my head and felt something hard. Not my skull or anything, but something else protruding from the base of it. It was growing in two places, and I barely had time to register what was happening before my ears started hurting. Putting one hand on my ear, I realized that it was changing. Fur was rapidly growing on it as the bones in my ears started restructuring themselves, the ears themselves pushing out from my body, forming a tip on the tops of them.
Then, as suddenly as it came, the pain stopped. I looked at my friends, and they were looking at me. But they all looked completely and utterly shocked. "What just happened?" I asked.
Panic then filled the room. Amber screamed, and Hank tried his best to comfort her through his own fear. Thomas started hyperventilating, and Gina just kept staring. The only one who didn't go crazy was Josh, who said, "Dude, you just grew antlers and stag ears! That's so cool!"
I was confused, but I was starting to believe him when I realized I could instinctively move my ears, and that they themselves were more sensitive. I reached to the top of my head and touched what I then realized were my antlers. "Oh my god."
"Josh, why are you so calm??" Amber asked him, teary eyed. "Brandon just turned into a fucking deer!!!"
"He's not a deer, he's a stag. And besides, he's still mostly human." Josh replied.
"It's still super fucking weird!" Amber pushed any semblance of good news out the window.
After catching his breath, Hank grabbed the rules and said, "Guys, I think we need to beat this game. The rules say that if we try to leave, we'll get punished." He seemed to calm down pretty well.
"I'm not playing this... this terrible game!" Gina exclaimed. "It makes no sense at all!" She got up from her seat and started for the door.
"Gina, no!" Thomas warned her. But it was too late. As soon as her hand came into contact with the front door handle, a massive shock made her jump back in fear, before she suddenly... shrunk?
In clothes that were now way too big for her stood Gina, but, younger. Her hair was longer, and her breasts were completely diminished. She looked to be about seven years old!
After staring at her new body, Gina fainted.

11:43
It's been about ten minutes since the whole ordeal started. I had gotten used to my new features, but Gina had just woken up and was incredibly pouty and wouldn't talk to anyone. We all calmed down, to an extent, and we all decided it would be best to finish the game out so we didn't have to be like this for too much longer. We decided to take another look at mine and Gina's character sheets.

"Well, the game did what it promised to do." Thomas tried to lighten the mood, to no avail.
"Let's just get this over with." Gina finally said something, revealing her cute 7 year old voice. "Who's going next? Who's to the left of Brandon?"
Our gaze shifted to whoever was sitting to my left, who just so happened to be...
