Alex and Sophie decided to go to the hotel's restaurant. As a sweet lover, she wanted to taste every treats in the menu while Alex wanted to get some fun, maybe starting a food fight or pranking some people in there.
"You won't start a food fight this time." Sophie told her brother as they walked to the restaurant. "I don't want to be expelled from another restaurant, ok?" Alex agreed but in his mind he was already planning it. Thinking which food is better to make a big mess and stuff like that.
When they arrived at the entrance, they noticed a couple of kids arriving there almost at the same time. They're two brothers, James and Patrick who were children of a couple of millionaires. James was the eldest being 12 years old, the same age than Alex and Sophie, while Patrick was 5 years younger than them.
"Are you two here alone?" Sophie asked them.
"No, we're with nanny, she's our babysitter!" Patrick quickly answered but James intervened a little ashamed, he sounded quite polite. "Our grandmother watch over us because our parents are busy almost all the time. But she is too old to do anything fun, so we came here without her, we're bored of staying in our room all day. She said it's fine if we don't go anywhere else."
"That's cool. Do you want to start a food fight with me? It would be so much fun!" Alex happily said. "Alex!!" Sophie yelled at him. "You promise you won't do it!"
"Hey we're 4 kids in a luxury hotel without adult supervision. We must take advantage of it!" Alex replied and Patrick start to happily jump, he seemed very excited of Alex's idea. "I don't know, my grandma will be very disappointed if we do things like that. We can share a table but I can't join you in that kind of activities. I'm sorry."
They talked a little more until a waiter arrived. "Welcome, young fellows. You've arrived in a wonderful night to our restaurant. Tonight we're beginning our Parents and children's week. So, we are your parents?"
"They aren't here. We are on our own." Sophie said.
"That's a problem. I can't let you in without an adult. Unless..." The waiter said. "Some of you accept to become adults temporary."
"Wow!! Is that possible!!" Patrick said very happily. "I want! I want!! I want to be big like my big brother!"
"I'm not an adult, Patrick." James replied. "And I'm not sure about this. I mean, I'm fine with my age, I don't want to be older. Is that even possible?"
"Of course, all you have to do is take this." The waiter took out two pills from his pocket. "I'm sorry, young lady but these pills only work in the Y chromosome, that means boys only."
"Don't worry, I'm fine. It would have been lovely to see myself as a grown woman but I think it would be funnier to watch my immature brother trying to act as a proper man." Sophie giggled a little. "Who said I'm gonna take it? I came here to make some mess, growing older wasn't in my plans." Alex replied a little bit upset.
"I'm gonna take it!" Patrick said as he extended his arm to take a pill from the waiter's hand. "No way!" James quickly interfered and took the pill from his brother's hand. "You won't be the adult here." He sighed. "If we don't have any other choice, I'm going to do it. What do you said Alex? If we both do it, it won't be too awkward, don't you think so?"
"Argh... whatever..." Alex said as he took the other pill. "But if I heard any comment about my appearance, that I look like dad or so, I'll let you alone, Soph!" Sophie nodded.
Alex and James looked at each other for the last time, before they closed their eyes and engulfed the pills.
