When Lee came back home and told what happened, his parents were disappointed in both the teacher and Lee, in the teacher for not giving the possibility to lower the humiliation and in Lee because he had been unable to avoid this situation. They understood well enough that Lee still had problems to hold. After he went to bed, his parents discussed on how to continue, both had different opinions; his mother wanted Lee to learn to hold correctly, his father defended Lee and advocated for better diapers so he could train in his rhythm.
Finally, Lee’s father convinced Lee’s mother, they decided to buy the thickest, biggest and most absorbent diapers. The new brand would be the new NeverWet diapers, that could hold up to 12 liters of liquid, they were very thick, but as it was no secret that Lee wore diapers it would not be a problem. They were also equipped with sensors who could tell when somebody was wet, how much. All those informations would be transferred to an app where all kind of informations was stored. It recommended some training and simulated trends for the wearer, if they were wetting more, how their control evolved. A disadvantage was, because of the size, bulk, and the tapes, the diaper was somewhat hard to remove. This was not a problem when changing, but if someone wanted to go to the toilet, it would take time to undo the tapes, meaning if the wearer only notices shortly before having to go, they would not have enough time and wet in the diaper.
NeverWet diapers were so good, one had only to change once a day but this also made them too comfortable. Combined with the difficulty of undoing the tapes, it tended to reverse the training of the wearer, but this was unknown to any of the customers as the diapers had only been available for weeks.
At the end of the week, and when Lee came back from school, he was met with a big package in his room, 100 NeverWet diapers. When he saw the capacity, and then felt how comfortable they were, he became incredibly happy. No longer did he have to worry that he would leak.
After wearing for a week, where he still tried to go to the bathroom and undo the NeverWet diapers, he could at least attest that they did never leak, and were rarely wet. After this week, his tries to go to the bathroom were becoming less. These tries were nonexistent after a month. After the second month, he noticed that he had even more accidents than before, but no leaks ever. The fourth month was when he noticed that he had his first messy accident, even those were no problem for the NeverWet.
