You were slowly loosing hope, when you saw a court mage approach the pen.
"...and if that maid was right, then the soul should be-Ah! There it is!"
He was here for you! Maybe this was your way out of this entire situation.
"Hmm, it seems the pig tried to eat the soul and suffered from the same condition.
I will have to tell someone to remove it's soul from the pen."
You were expecting him to come help you, when you saw the pig's soul slowly float up, landing in the mage's hand.
"It shouldn't be too hard to put it back in place." He turned aroun and left.
It took you a moment to comprehend what happened.
The mage had mistaken the pig's soul for yours and left you behind.
Would he notice his mistake and return?
Your hopes were dashed when you saw a servant, who seemed to be in charge of the pigs, approach the pen.
"I guess that's the pig, so it should be somewhere around here." He got into the pen and looked around for a moment,
before spotting you and picking you up. "Wish he'd actually told me what to do with the thing."
He looked over at the pig. "Guess i'll have Benny butcher the body."
He shoved you into a bag and walked off, soon arriving in a small cottage.
The man threw the bag with you in it onto a table and left for a while, returning in a clean set of clothes.
He pulled you out of the bag and grabbed you, to took a closer look at you.
"Feels kinda weird." He moved you around a bit. "It's warm too."
He put you down again. "Maybe i can use this thing for something."
