“Do a flip!” The second the command registered in the girls’ ears, they halted their tracks and squatted, preparing to jump. As though perfectly coordinated, the six cheerleaders each performed a simultaneous backflip and perfectly stuck the landing.
“Dude, what the fuck!?” Anne shrieked.
“Did we just… backflip?” Jennifer asked the squad.
“Oh yeah, definitely,” Susan confirmed, “And we have an audience.”
Indeed they had a whole bunch of their peers staring at them for performing their little stunt. A bunch of them started clapping and a few excited whoops were shouted. They almost couldn’t believe what they saw! The East Hampton cheer team just did a backflip on request!
“Do it again!” someone in the crowd shouted. The girls were suddenly panic stricken as their bodies obliged the request on their own. Another ten point landing, and another shriek from Anne.
“MAKE IT STOP!” she cried. Since that statement could be considered a command, the cheer squad started to deflate everyone’s hype and told them that the show was over.
Kyle, of course, was fairly satisfied. Now that enough people had just seen the girls’ performance, surely now the true fun would begin. Some random students actually gave him a pat on the back and an apology for not believing him at first.
“Heh. Okay, I guess magic is real now,” Eric felt a power like he never had before, “So does this mean…”
“Oh it definitely does,” Kyle grinned, “The fun is just about to begin!”
