Knowing that she had to head to class, Jen walked to the car in her garage and entered it. Putting the keys in the ignition, she heard her phone vibrate in her pocket. Jen took the phone out and accepted the call.
"Good evening, we need to confirm your identity, is your full, legal name Jennifer Recrostim?"
"Who are you?" yelled Jen, oblivious to the fact that she was merged with the car, with her upper body sticking above the driver's seat.
The dialer abruptly hung up. Still fuming, Jen slammed the phone onto the phone holder. She placed her hands on the steering wheel, and tried to stretch her leg to step on the gas pedal.
Except she had no legs.
Jen tried to examine herself. She saw her upper body being merged seamlessly with the driver's seat, and she seemed stuck in place.
Just then a bird shat on the hood of the car and she felt something strike her body. She realized that she had full, autonomous control of the car, without her needing to press on the pedals anymore.
Jen turned on the ignition and felt the engine start. Feeling her wheels touch the ground, but not knowing how to control her new body yet, she tried to think of walking as she would as a human. Her vehicular body drove forwards, as she saw the gas pedal depress spontaneously and felt the engine run on its own while the radiator heated up and she felt herself… fart? Seems like the exhaust pipe is her butthole. She was flushed to know that she would be constantly farting while the ignition was on.
She braked in time before she crashed into her still-closed garage door. Good thing she had the remote to the door attached to her car keys. With the press of a button the garage door slowly opened and Jen felt the sun shine on her hood and through the windows onto her leather seats, making her feel warm all over. Placing her hands on the steering wheel, she was ready to head to class. She drove ahead and thought of turning right onto the street, only to see that the steering wheel rotated on its own along with the axle of her front wheels, meaning that she had autonomous control of steering as well.
Even with that in mind, she still didn't feel comfortable with her hands off the steering wheel, and hence practiced synchronizing the rotation of the axle with the steering of the wheel. Once she was ready, she turned left (as this action would be described from this point onwards) onto the street.
Leaving her suburb and entering the town, she braked in front of the intersection. The sensation of her being thrown forward was strange, but she'd better get used to it. Once the light turned from red to green, Jen turned right and drove straight ahead until she reached the parking lot a few blocks away from her community college. She adjusted her rearview mirror and backed herself into the parking space.
There was just one problem: her upper body was stuck to the driver seat of the car. How, then, could she head to her classroom, let alone enter the school?
