I couldn't find him anywhere. There were
just too many people, and it was so loud,
and the stereo was blasting. Some
rooms were dark, lit only by a candle or
two. God knows what was going on in the
corners there. Bob seemd to know a lot of
pretty kinky people.
The back yard was also pretty dark, lit only
by one small porch light and a couple of
tiki torches in the far corners. People
milled around on the deck and the lawn. I
saw my friends Kevin and Philip. They
were a cute couple about my age that
Matthew and I sometimes hung around
with. They hadn't seen Matthew, either,
but they, too, warned me that my
ex-boyfriend Doug was skulking around
somewhere.
As I thanked them for the information, I
saw Bob refilling some potato chip bowls
just inside the door to the house.
