Despite the uncomfortable feeling last night, Tanya had woken up around 6:00 am. "Great, two hours before I have to work. I should have plenty of time to drop off the gift." Tanya yawned and slumped off her bed to head to the shower. Throughout the time, the statue in the living room had started to glow again as the light projected the shape of the nine tailed fox until it materialized in a non-physical form. The kitsune had looked around it's surroundings after it's awakening. 'How much time has passed? This looks nothing like my final resting place.' The kitsune had floated around to see out the window. Cars driving, people on their cellphones, and tall buildings covered the entire scenery. 'Man's inventions have surpassed my expectations. No concern of mine however. My only concern is repopulating my people. And it starts with the human living here.' the kitsune flew back over to the statue where her spirit lay and and waited patiently for any human to arrive.
After a hot shower, Tanya got on her work uniform, and headed out to the living room for some relaxation before heading out. Setting on the couch, Tanya decided it take another look at the Statue in question with the scroll next to it. "Might as well see what kind of lore comes from this thing." She says unraveling the scroll. To her relief, it was English. "Okay. Kitsune, powerful creatures that roamed long ago in ancient Japan. Humans and kitsune have lived close together as they are considered friends, and even lovers in some instances." Tanya raised an eyebrow. "This is due to the fact that kitsune have the ability to shape shift to human form. Okay... That makes a bit more sense." She had a thought about if anyone close to her in her life would be a secret kitsune. She laughed at the thought that some of her friends, or even Leo could possibly be a nine tailed fox. She put the scroll away and stared at the statues eyes. "Quite a lot of history with creatures like you huh." She talked in the direction to the statue noticing a slight glimpse of light. "Huh? Are those eyes... Glowing?" She looked closer nearly touching noses with the statue. The light seemed so inviting to her she couldn't resist getting closer. Than out of nowhere, the whole statue flashed. "Ah! What is this?" Tanya shielded her eyes. The light escaped the statue and materialized into the non-physical form of the kitsune again. Tanya rubbed her eyes to see a large white and red fox with nine long bushy tails in front of her.
"H... Hi..." She said completely dumbfounded by the whole thing. The kitsune stared at Tanya with white blank eyes. "You... Your friendly... Right... Your not going to-" All the sudden the fox sped forward almost as fast as a bullet and Tanya shielded herself from any potential impact. However, she felt nothing. In fact, the fox completely disappeared from her sight. "I... I must still be tired..." She thought maybe her head was still playing tricks on her after the long trip back home. But she felt off. Everything in her head started to go fuzzy. Especially around her backside where she failed to notice.
