Rico assumed that Josh was trying to trick him into transforming himself, but thought that he could still use the ritual to get what he wanted. He called up Woody and managed to convince him to do it for him, after trying to persuade him for almost ten minutes.
Rico arrived at Woody's house a short while later and started setting everything up together with him.
Woody thought that Rico had gone off the deep end the entire time and only kept going because he liked Rico.
They didn't take long to finish setting up, with Woody standing in the middle of a circle made of candles in a dark room,
while Rico stood a bit further away with the book in his hand away, explaining to Woody what he had to do next.
Woody started to feel a bit nervous. "What is this supposed to do again?" Rico avoided giving a proper answer, expecting Woody to be a singlet soon anyway. Why should he answer him if it didn't change the outcome? "Just keep going, you'll see it when we're done."
He didn't even look at Woody while he was talking. "Alright, now you just have to read the lines i wrote down earlier."
Woody looked down at the scrap of paper in his hand. "Uh, okay." He cleared his throat and started reading out loud.
"P̴̧̖͈͗̒̐͘r̸̛̖̩̫̹͒͊ą̵̖̣̾̓̆̑ȇ̷̡̀͌͆s̷̱̒̋͆t̴̙̭̓͒̐̽̋a̴͈̥͓̻͆͂ŕ̸̳̱̏̍̃ę̵͖̌ ̶̠̦̽́̋͠͝ͅn̷̪̓̑̓e̷͖̥͎̮̝̾g̸̼̲̳̱̓̏͛̃͝ọ̴̱̬̓̍̕ͅt̵̤̟̆͂ĭ̴̫͈͓̫͂͐u̸̝͔̼̮͑̒̈m̶̮͊͑,̴̠͎̲̃ ̴͖̦̪̹͋͗̉̎i̶̢̬͚̘͇̎̀̃͑̈ư̷̰̙̒͗̌̀s̶̨̖͎͖̺͑͒ș̵̢̧̗͊a̸̱̤͉͖͂ ̶͕͕̼͊̅̒̍f̸͈͖̂̄̓ã̷͎̘̀̿̌ć̵͓̪͌̿̋̕,̴͚̘̺̫̰̃̆̅̔͝ ̶̜̓͗̒̿͆m̷̮̭̹̟̋̚͠e̶̹̦̺͗̒̓͑̓ ̵̢̢̹̮̋̈́͜ï̸͎͐̐n̶͙̦̩͕͊͗ ̷̛̼̰̦̦̀͊̄̑c̷͖̼̽o̶̖̅̈́͛g̴̱̒̑i̶̲̲͂t̶̝͂̏a̴͔̥̥͛̃͠n̵̢̩͈͍͈̔̀̒̅͛d̶͖͋ǒ̵͚̜͎͊ ̵̤̌͋̔s̸̢̒̔͛͜ṳ̵̼͉̂̊͗̚ṃ̶͎͔͌̑͑ȇ̷̦͍̬̍̍̑ ̸͓̭̑̔ͅe̸̫͂t̵̛̟̍́̆̿ ̸̟͓̝̻́i̶̖̪̖̍l̷̄͜l̶̡̰͜͝u̶͖̬̩̩̮̎̋͑̋m̵̜͙͔͕͐͊̄̕ ̶̥͚̺͙̤̌͠i̷̻̊̂̀̕ṅ̴̖͍͚̞̈́̅̅ ̶̭͛͊͋̚v̵̢̯̟͎́͂̃ë̷̥̯̰̝́̐̉̏ş̷̳̟͚̘̈́̀͒̚͝t̷̖̮͎͙̆i̷̦̲̕u̵̬̺̔͜m̴̝̞̥̣̩̀͒̐̽ ̵̯͙̔̀d̸̘̒̄ẻ̷͖͓̀̃̕͝s̶͔̩͌̕i̸̯̯̍̓͘ͅd̶̟̫͊̂e̶̫̙̬̽̈͊͒͋!"
His voice sounded strangely distorted as he spoke and he heard a rushing in his ears that got louder and louder,
until the candles suddenly went out when he got to the last word and all the sound disappeared.
Woody stood in the dark, completely silent room for a while and was starting to get scared enough to think about running to the door,
when the candles suddenly turned on again. He sighed with relief, happy that it was finally over, and looked over to Rico,
only to see that he was gone. Woody ran over to where Rico stood before, but only saw a pile of clothes and the book Rico had been holding.
He looked around the room again, before rooting through the pile, noticing that most of the clothes were Rico's in the process,
except for a brand new tank top in his size. He gave up after a short while and picked up the book, hoping it held some sort of answer.
What he read shocked him and made him pick up the tank top again. "Wait, so this is Rico?"
He was confused and decided to read over it again, confirming that he'd read it correctly.
"So the ritual was meant to turn Rico into clothes for me?" He looked at the tank top with doubt. "This can't be real, right?"
Woddy ran his hands over it, not finding a difference between it and normal clothing.
"And it said i could turn him into whatever i want after it's done, but that can't be rea-"
The tank top suddenly transformed into a pair of shorts, almsot slipping out of his hands in the process. "...Holy shit."
He held the shorts up to his face. "Holy shit, is that really you Rico?! And you really want me to wear you?"
Rico couldn't answer, but he would have screamed at Woody if he could have. He had been absolutely sure that Josh had been trying to trick him into transforming himself. He didn't expect the ritual to actually work the way Josh had told him it would.
Meanwhile, Woody knew nothing about Josh's inner turmoil. He thought that the ritual had gone exactly the way Rico wanted.
