The new Celestial Kitsune

Darren thanked Tatsu, the divine kitsune spirit having told him all of the previous wielders would be at his disposal. The teenage Catalyst hoped that their strength would allow him to stop the Normal.

"It appears my sons are returning."

Darren glanced over to where Tatsu now looked, seeing the nine tail kitsune emerge from the woods along with his two tailed brother. Raiden now approached his father, the divine kitsune smirking at the teen. "I take it you two had a productive conversation."

"You could say that father," Raiden grinned. Tatsu now narrowed his eyes as he gazed at Fukushu, the nine tail kitsune expressionless as he looked at his father.

"I wish you well my son," Tatsu stated. Fukushu nodded before sighing deeply. "It was good to see you again father," he said. "I hope to see you again soon."

Tatsu smiled, clapping his hand upon his sons shoulder. "Your brother and I shall always be with you son," he said. "Tell your mother when you see her she was right." Fukushu gave his father a curious look as the divine kitaune chuckled softly. "She will know what that means."

As Darren and Fukushu turned to leave, it was now Raiden who stepped forward. "Hey Catalyst," he called. Darren paused, turning to gaze at the silver kitsune teen. "You better keep my little brother safe," he smirked. Darren nodded, a small smile spreading across his face as the two now returned to the land of the living.

Darren gasped, sitting up straight as he tried to catch his breath. Looking around he immediately noticed Yuriko, Hannah, and the others now gathered around him. "Darren are you alright," Hannah asked. "Yeah I think so," he groaned as he now stood.

Hannah frowned, punching Darren in the shoulder. "You jerk we thought you two died!"

"We weren't dead child," Fukushu said softly. "Our spirits ascended to a different plane of existence."

"That sounds like dead," Hannah grumbled.

Darren and Fukushu now stood, turning to face one another. "Thank you Fukushu," Darren asked. "I wouldn't have been able to learn about the sword or talk with Tatsu without your help."

"Think nothing of it," Fukushu stated, the kitsune now tried to hide his happiness. Communing with his long dead brother had helped to heal his very soul. Still, after so many years of terrorizing wizards, he wished to maintain his mystique (if only to satisfy his pride).

"Our lessons for today have concluded Catalyst," Fukushu stated. "When I return you will need to be ready." Darren nodded, as Fukushu now beckoned Abolith to his side. "It is time to go."

"Wait," Darren exclaimed. Fukushu and Abolith paused, curiously staring at Darren. Darren now took a deep breath. After talking with Tatsu, learning of Fukushu's pain, his parents hopes that he would turn towards the light once more, he had come up with an idea. After sharing it with Tatsu, the divine kitsune chuckled, it was a brilliant idea. Darren's rings now began to glow as he hoped the spell would be a success.

Aboluth and Fukushu paused as they listened to the laughter of children. For a moment they thought Sachiko had invited a friend over to play. Looking towards the house the pair gasped, their eyes going wide in astonishment.

Sachiko now sprinted towards the group, accompanied by another kitsune child. The kitsune child appeared to be Sachikos age, possessing black fur with red highlights along the tips. Gazing at this child, information flooded the elf and kitsunes minds.

This was their child, their son Raiden. Named in honor of Fukushu's long-dead brother the one tailed kitsune boy was a hybrid like Sachiko. Possessing the appearance of a kitsune with red and black fur, he also possessed the speed, agility, and love of nature as his mother. The boy was also more serious than Sachiko, yet was still a happy and joyful child.

"Dad," Raiden exclaimed as he skidded to stop in front of Fukushu. "Can I hangout with Sachiko again soon?"

Fukushu was speechless, reaching out slowly as he now drew his son into a firm hug. "Son," he whispered. Fukushu now looked to Abolith, the elves eyes growing damp as she gazed at a son who hadn't existed moments ago. A son she immediately fell in love with.

"Dad," Raiden groaned. "You're embarrassing me."

"Sorry," Fukushu said quickly, releasing his hug as he now placed his hand on Raidens shoulder. "I..I am sorry Raiden," he said softly. "You, you caught me by surprise."

Raiden now gave his parents a curious look, wondering why they were acting so weird. "Your father is just a little disoriented after visiting your grandfather," Abolith stated, trying her best to cover for Fukushu. "If Sachikos parents allow it than yes you may see her again soon."

"Pretty please," Sachiko now pleaded as she looked to her equally stunned parents.Akira and Ayami could only nod, causing the two kitsune children to squeal with joy. "Next time you visit Raiden I'll introduce you too my new friends."

"Can't wait," Raiden replied happily. The kitsune child now ran towards his parents, taking their hands in his.

Fukushu and Abolith looked at their smiling son before turning to Darren. "A peace offering," Darren grinned. "Tatsu thought this would be a great way for you to show you've changed." Fukushu chuckled softly, flashing a grin at Darren before vanishing from sight.

Kellie and Jack now sat in her study, astonished by what they had seen. While their involvement with the Catalyst had to be minimal, it didn't mean they wouldn't watch how he was progressing.

"Did you see that," Jack whispered. Kellie nodded as the two now gaped at the image of Fukushu's son. "I see it. I just can't believe it."

Jack now began to laugh softly as he watched the image of everyone gazing at Sachiko and Raiden in shock. "Do you think any of them realize what Darren just did?"

"Not yet," Kellie stated. "But its only a matter of time before they find out."

"Should we tell Yuriko," Jack asked.

"Of course," Kellie exclaimed. "I mean how often does something like this happen. Darren just made the next pair of celestial kitsune! Even he probably doesn't realize how powerful those kids are."

"Its going to be interesting watching them grow up though," Jack grinned.

Kellie nodded in agreement, whether Darren had meant to or not he had just created the next celestial kitsunes who would grow up to lead and protect the clan.
