When you woke up you discovered something that totally surprising. You had black bird feet. "What the hell?!" You yelled shocked & confused. Your dad poked his head into your room & asked "What you yelling about?" You looked at him & pointed to your feet & yelled "This! I got bird feet!" Your dad replied "And?" "And?! I have bird feet!" You yelled at him. "Yes you do. Your point?" He said not seeming at all finding that weird. He left. [Why does he find that weird?] You thought confused. You then looked for your shoes but couldn't find them. You walked out of your room & soon found your mom. She didn't react at all to your bird feet. "Where are my shoes?" You asked her. She gave you a funny look & asked "What shoes?" Confused yourself you asked "Where are my shoes?" She told you "You never worn any. You can't wear any because of your feet. Now get off to school before you're late." You walked off to school barefoot finding all this so damn weird. At school no one reacted at all to your bird feet. Which was even weirder still. You even pointed your black bird feet out to your best friend Steve. And he didn't find your bird feet weird. Even he saw them as normal. You questioned that & he informed you your feet have always been that way sense he's known you. And you two have known each other sense you both were real little. You had to wonder if reality & everyone's memory changed so no one will find this difference in your body is normal. That your feet have always been bird feet. [Am I going to change more into a bird? Is reality going to keep changing so everyone sees each change as normal? As how my body has always been?] You thought wondering. Then you looked at your black bird feet again & thought [I might not mind turning at least mostly into a bird. As long as I'd be able to fly with my own wings.] Then another thought occurred to you [My feet look like the feet of a raven.] So you think you you know what bird you might be turning into; a raven. [Ravens are cool.] You thought with a smile.
