Its 2043 which means the Draca Colonization Armada is orbiting Earth.
The Draca,reptillian aliens who are dead ringers for 20 foot long mythical Earth feral western dragons,originally had no plans to visit Earth or humans,being well aware
of the medievel Knight versus Dragon fairytales
of Earth.
However whilst the Armada had been passing Proxima Centauri
four light years away a suspicious He 235 anti matter reactor aboard
Colonization Ship 457 had exploded
killing most of her crew and some of her
colonists
and forcing the Admiral to make a unwanted detour of the Armada to Earth
where she needed to make the necessary repairs to 457 and sort out the matter of replacing her skeleton crew and replacing other critical resources 457 would need to blast into hyper Deep Space
with the rest of the ships.
So the Admiral,hearing about Gen Tech's biosuits
had made Earthlings a offer.
The Draca had no interest in taking along human s aboard 457
because Draca ships are designed to be
run and crewed and inhabited by
20 foot long feral western dragon like beings such as the Draca who
built her.Clearly
something a human was not.
However the Admiral offered Bosuit Amplifiers that would turn any human wearing the
biosuit into a dead ringer for a draca whilst they wore one.
Something that would allow the selected humans to come aboard the repaired 457
and come along for the ride into the wild wooly adventures that
awaited them in Deep Space.
Since the Admira didn't think any other Draca ship
would go near Earth for quite a while
afterwards
this was a 'take it or leave it offer'
Denis's mom had applied to the Draca Migration Bureau aboard
Ship 457
for her and her family to
come on the Grand Voyage and so
showed the Gen Tech saleslady one of the
Draca Amplifier Chips that would be needed to bring
out her sons inner Draca-nian.
