Undine Thelxinoé was perfectly aware of the Journal and its risks, having been there, in the latest reality at least, when Colin explained it to his slaves. But the nightmare that she just had convinced her Colin needed protection, and she planed to use the Journal of Facts to give him more slaves who could help in that task.
So as soon as Aditi was back in her room, the siren entered the one of their master and took the journal to her own.
First, she wrote there was another girl the same age as Aditi and Colin she had taken as her own while they were in the ‘care’ of the mad-mage, one that used to be human but was turned into a dryad, which is a kind of plant-nymph, who also ended as his slave. Realizing dryads were known to be linked to a tree, unable to go too far from it, she added that somehow that nymph ended up linked to a treant, a sort of tree-creature able to speak, move and even fight.
Remembering her name, Undine, was also a species of water-nymph, and since one can't have too much magic-powers protecting them, she added that she was born from the unlikely union between a merman, unjustly banned from the sea by his kin, and an actual undine. The siren never knew her father, him needing sea-water to live rather than the clear-water from her mother's river. As a result, she was born as a siren with the strange ability to live in clear-water. Her mother called her Undine because, as a nymph, said mother had never needed another name than the one of her species, which left her unable to think of another one for her hybrid daughter. (She still let her know the family name of her father.)
Then somehow, ending as the slave of someone that not only had another nymph, but was also seeing her as a second mother, activated her latent undine powers. Undine Thelxinoé is still a siren able to live in clear-water, and still gained the ability to turn her tail into legs thanks to the mad-mage's experiments, but now is simultaneously an actual undine.
That said, that still wasn't enough to ensure Colin's protection. Sure, he had two nymph giving him a strong magical protection, and count on the muscles of Aditi, his treant and even Undine herself, but he needed at least one more muscle-based protector. Not only that, but so far most of his entourage is only composed of girls (except maybe his treant who, being a three, probably have both sex, like most plants), so it was time to give him a male protector, someone who could also be a male friend.
She opted for a minotaur, a species known for their excessive strength.
As she closed and put back the Journal where she found it, Undine forgot she had written anything. She also become convinced that, when Colin became her master, on top of herself and a Râkshasa named Aditi, he also gained a girl-turned-dryad named Flora Green and her host, a weeping willow treant named, unoriginally, Willow along with a minotaur named Blake as slaves.
