"I've still got something to deal with first. Could you head downstairs and see if the princess needs any help?" Thunder asked.
Aqua gave him a warm smile and wink. "I sure can, dear. Just don't get yourself in too much trouble."
"Says the mare who got herself tied up in a tennis net," he retorted.
"That was one time!" she countered hesitantly. "Okay, two times... and a half."
"And a half?"
"I don't tell you everything, you know," she cooed and then headed downstairs.
Thunder shook his head. "Mares..."
As Aqua trotted down the steps, she could hear Strawberry Delicious's voice. What's she doing here?
She reached the bottom and turned the corner of the stairwell, finding Princess Sunshine slowly lowering a dazed looking Strawberry Delicious to the ground. The pink mare looking around, her short green mane looking a bit frazzled.
"Strawberry Delicious, that is your name, yes?" Sunshine asked the mare.
Strawberry nodded. "Y-yes, princess. I, ah, I'm not sure how ah got here, yer majesty."
Sunshine thought for a moment. "We're throwing a party. And I need you to cater. Can you do that simple task?"
"Sure can! I'll whip up a strawberry cake in a jiffy!" she dashed to the kitchen, passing by Aqua, who looked a tad confused, but shrugged. You don't question the princess. Ever.
Aqua then trotted over to Princess Sunshine, giving a brief bow. "Is there anything I can do for you, princess?"
Sunshine turned to acknowledge her, still keeping her eyes on the two remaining girls in the room. "It seems Thunder was successful with one of them. Aqua Heart, you see these two?"
The pegasus looked at the two... hairless monkey... things before her. "Um... yes. What are they, your majesty?"
The princess shook her head. "Imperfections. That's all that's important. But, I'm fixing them. The one on the left is called 'Sabrina', and the one on the right is called 'Trixie'. Would you like to choose which one I fix next? And how I go about fixing them?"
"Is this an order, princess?" Aqua asked.
"No, an offer. I know you and Thunder have been having trouble conceiving. I could make one of them your foal," Sunshine answered, making Aqua's eyes light up.
"Really?" she asked.
"Yes, really. There are other options too, but I know that one is likely the most appealing to you."
Aqua smiled. Should she feel guilty about having these... things... unwillingly transformed? Maybe. But, the princess called them imperfections, and what she's offering... Aqua would be a fool to say no.
