While Halloween and/or Spookyville holding most of Animalia's attention, there was plenty to do to prepare for it, especially since Spookyville 2021 was going to be a combination of Eastern/Japanese mythology and Western mythology called the "Night Parade of 100 Demons". Fortunately, a Skype channel had been opened between Heiya Island and Lyre/Animalia so they could work on the overall plot.
"Part of what would make it quite a bit more interesting would be the cultural differences between Susanoo and Heracles." said one of the people working on it.
"How would that be?" asked a Horizon Agent on Heiya Island.
"One thing I can think of right off the back is how Greek and Japanese culture view shields." said the first person.
"Oh, right." said the Agent, "In our culture, we view the shield as weakness."

Sister Mary Lazarus and her fellow sisters were learning a lot about being an Animalian, especially about their new instincts and libdos, or sometimes both at the same time. They were staying in Lyre/Animalia while they were getting a new Coventry put together (in more ways than one), but there were a few things that were completely new to them. For example, when they first arrived in Lyre, they noticed a few male housecat Animalians grouped together, and that had caused an unexpected spike in libido for them. While they had expected such "temptations" to happen to them, they never expected it to hit so soon. They did get it under control, eventually, but what was on their minds after could best be summarized as 'this is tougher than I thought.'.

Another thing that was being discussed was Hector Ramiro's final punishment. While overall it appeared that it hadn't worked well, tying the final punishment to Spookyville seemed like a good idea. However, Miss Fabina seemed to have an unusual idea.
"Remember that girl that Hector beat? The one that finally led the cops to him?" asked Miss Fabina.
"Sort of." answered the Horizon Agent assigned to Hector's punishments.
"Well, when I heard that she was looking for payback against Hector, I took her in and got her a dire wolf conversion." said Miss Fabina, eyes twinkling.
"What for?" asked the agent, not really getting it.
"After her conversion, she began lifting weights like crazy." answered Miss Fabina, "She also chose a 'demon nun' for her costume."
"Are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?" asked the Agent, suddenly remembering the old phrase.
"I believe the saying is 'Karma is a bitch.', right?" answered Miss Fabina.
