As Josh was almost drowned by the wind pressure of the flying frogboy, you called him out of the pool.
"Okay, fine", you murmured, more to yourself than to anyone around you. "We had the most efficient one, the first one and the boy of the team. Now all we have is -"
"The airhead", Annie snipped in, "The comic relief, the dumb one, the -"
"No, the reliable one!" You called out Racer. Of course your Pudgybow was also a victim to forced swim wear. Instead of her kinda skimpy aviators uniform, she wore now a relatively modest one piece-swimsuit in beige and darker brown. She soared over the water, letting her clawed feet dipping in just for the fun of it and looked upon her foe in curiosity.
Gamanin croaked at her.
"This is a strange bird", she said, circling him.
"He is, and you will ground him now!", you commanded.
"But there is only water", Racer answered. "There is not even sand here, by the way. I´m worried."
"So reliable", Annie whispered.
"We don´t need sand anymore! Use Zephyr!"
You expected a clash of winds, a power struggle without any help from Type advantages. Not exactly what you liked, but it was better than nothing. But Molly grinned, and triumphant she spoke: "Gamanin ... Frostblade!"
Your foe lost his feathers, but gained a sword out of ice, and as he fell down, he slashed. An icy wave shot out of the sword, and Racer was engulfed in coldness. Her wings froze over in seconds, and with a birdlike cry she fell down into the pool.
"No!" You felt wobbly. Some sort of ... strange feeling crawled at you. Did you ... just lost?
Racer came back up, soaked and barely able to fly. Gamanin on the other hand was not only still on his feet, he even could ran above the water surface, like an ice skater! Gracefully he glided towards Racer. He stroke down, with the back of his icy blade, and hit her playfully at the shoulder. And just like that, she iced up. Your birdgirl floated, an ice statue from head to toe.
Molly whistled at that. "Oho ... a freeze for me? Today I´m truly lucky."
You sank down at the edge of the pool. "Uh ..."
"You lost, dear", Molly said. "Now, for your punishment."
