Danielle was a woman who happened to be in her mid 30s, where she lived with her husband Samuel, and her kids Arthur and Sarah. As Samuel takes the responsibility of working for the family as a lawyer’s secretary for the legal department of Sildena Labs, Megan takes part of taking care of their kids. She has a special bond with her kids since the moment they were born, even though Sarah happened to be a teenager and thinks that her mom sometimes gets a bit too pushy. During the weekends, she would bring them to the beach or museums or other fun places that they liked.
On New Year’s Eve, Sarah was excited to go to a party at her friend Damian’s house, as Damian’s parents were out of town on a vacation to Cap d’Adge for a couple weeks. Sarah had a crush on Damian since she saw him in their homeroom class at school one day. He came from a wealthy family, as his father was one of the chairmen for Sildena Labs. So, as she got ready to go to the party, she went downstairs where she saw her parents watching a romantic movie with a bottle of champagne on the living room table. “Mom, is it okay if I go to my friend’s house?” She asked her mother, where she was concerned about how late it was in the night, despite it being 8:30 pm. “I don’t know about that. It’s already getting dark outside and I’m a little nervous to have you over there.”
“But mom, I’m just going to Damian’s house. It’s not like I’m going to an abandoned warehouse where some random hobos will take me somewhere.” Sarah reacted negatively towards her mother said in the matter. Despite this, Danielle sighed as she knew what it was like to go to parties like that when she was her age. “Alright then. Can I at least lay some ground rules if you’re going to that party?” Megan asked. “Sure, I guess.” She said as she listened. “I want you to not get to any strange requests from creeps. As well as not drinking any alcohol on the premises. I also want you to make sure that you check in with me every hour, so I can tell if you’re okay.” She told Megan. “Alright fine. Now can I go to the party?” She asked her again. “Sure, sweetie. I hope you have a good time.”
Sarah then went out as she opened the front door where she was on her way to Damian’s house. It wasn’t that long of a walk, as Damian lived in the southeast part of town. As she got to his house, she knocked on the door where one of Damian’s friends opened it. “Oh hey Sarah, what’s up?” He asked her. “I’m good. This seems like a lit party.” Sarah responded where she was bopping to the sick music for a while with the rest of the crowd. After a while, Damian went up to her in a friendly way.
“Hey… Sarah, is it?” Damian wondered. “Yeah, that’s me.” She blushed as she was nervous about Damian seeing her. “You’re the one who sent me all those notes at homeroom, right?” Sarah was still blushing, as she was giggling for a little bit. “Hey, don’t worry. I’ve been meaning to have you see something.” Sarah was a bit confused on what he meant by that, as he hold her hand and went down to the basement that was also his dad’s mancave. “Pretty cool, isn’t it?” Damian said, as Sarah was impressed with the décor, where it was stocked with a pool table and a bar with shiny mirrors on the back. “This is where my dad goes whenever he’s stressed, or his friends come over.” Damian said to Sarah. “It looks pretty cool.” Sarah responded as they had some drinks at Damian’s dad’s bar and made out on the luxurious couch for a while before they blacked out around midnight. They were unaware on what was happening towards the rest of the world as they were too drunk to notice.
