Even though Mabel was now a 2-year-old toddler, she still hadn't realized that yet. For her everything was normal as before. But that would soon change when she felt someone was picking her up.
"Now what are you doing here little one?" asked a voice. Mabel was shuffled around in someone’s arms until she could look directly up at the face of the person who had grabbed her. It was Robyn, one of her co-workers.
"You know everyone should be inside the daycare at this time, little one."
Upon returning to the daycare, Mabel was taken to the daycare play area, where the rest of the nursery children were.
By this time, Mabel had several questions.
Why didn't Robyn recognize her? Why was she taken to the play area with the rest of the children? Why does Robyn and the other children seem to be bigger than her? Or better yet, why everything seems to be bigger than before?
