"Well," Manny said, "I fancy morphing into... a dog!"
"A dog?" Margaret and ANdrew said at once.
"Yup." Manny said. "I always figured my son would need one, but then i thought, why waste money on getting one when I can become a dog myself?"
Suddenly, a brown tail stuck out from his rear, above his butt.
then, There was a strange tingling from his ears, and he reached up to feel them grow much larger. They became pointed, then they quickly perked up, and gained brown fur.
"Amazing." Manny said, his tongue hanging out.
Manny immediately dropped to all fours, and then his nose and mouth became a long muzzle, complete with a wet shiny black nose.
"Wow, Dad!" Andrew said, "You're certainly changing!"
"You ain't theen nothin' yeth!" Manny said, his speech beginning to slur.
Off went his shoes and socks. Margaret saw her husband's feet were getting much longer. Fur overtook them and from the toes stretched claws.
She helped her transforming husband to take off his clothes, underwear and all, as his body changed more and more - his joints clicked, and his ankles now resembled backwards knees. He felt his back shift, making him permanently on all fours.
His hands popped; His fingers became stiff, shortening while his fingertips and palms swelled with padding.
His ribcage pushed out and his waist shrank. More popping noises could be heard as his body adjusted to quadrupedal motion. he leaned forward as his arms and legs shortened; with a final pop, his body slipped into the sitting position of a dog; his face pushing out slightly.
"Leth's gooo! Wanna rrrun, wanna chathe thtikk!" He barked as fur crept over his face. "Wanna play! waannaa phtlay! woooawna prrraaay! rrrooooaarrrooo ROOF!"
Colors became muted as the dog that was once Manny Calvo barked happily.
Andrew stroked the furry head that was his dad.
"It worked!" Margaret said. "Oh, Manny, I'm so proud of you!"
