Everyone was full of anticipation because Animalia's biggest event in fall was about to start: Spookyville 2021. While everyone was focused on different things, with most kids focusing on the candy most of all, there were a few others who were looking forward to other things, willing or not.

Miss Juliet had brought her girls, as well as Juan, along with her for Spookyville. However there were some things that were annoying, even though she had had a heads up about them. Mainly, their "travel agent", Manny Calavera, seened to not only enjoy telling really bad jokes, he also seemed to think that she and Juan were mates, even though she had made it clear that they were two different subspecies of fox.
"You just wait until spring rolls around," he had said, "And see how 'compatible' you two are."

Hector Ramirez (or "Wooly Woody", as some people now called him) was approaching the arrival of Spookyville with quite some dread, since this was to be his final punishment, and the 'final punishment' was going to be linked to his crime. He was even more nervous when Manny reminded him about it, as well as gave him another hint about what it would entail.
"Let me tell you something, Wooly," he said, "Some demons like to dress up and/or impersonate religious authorities, not only to lure their victims into a false sense of security, but also to make a mockery of the divine when they reveal their true selves."
"Good to know." said Hector, resigning himself to a 'let's get this over with' kind of mood.

Dino City was having its own version of Spookyville, but with raptor packs hunting the visitors. Fortunately, these would be more like the IAC Hunter Games, and nobody would really be 'killed'. Part of why Dino City was hosting it was because of the new surge of raptors and dromaeosaurs, though there were a few "packs" that had become herms.

What was probably the biggest thing was the central event of Spookyville: the Night Parade of 100 Demons. It was a variation of the Japanese myth of Amaterasu Hides Away, but with the gem and mirror that were the focal point of the myth having been stolen by a mysterious 'snake man', so Susanoo is tasked with recovering them. It wasn't too long before he met Heracles, done up as his Greco-Roman namesake, and become adventuring companions after a brief confrontation. While the overall adventure was a mixture of Greco-Roman and Asian culture, what was also in it was the cultural differences between Greek and Japanese warriors.
