"Ooo a black space!" Hailey tapped her blue pawn on it's new resting spot with glee. "So that mean the person to my... left picks a card for me! That's you, Jen!"
Jen harumphed. "Not that I want to even touch this god-forsaken game again, but I guess we can just see how you like it when it changes you!" She swiped a red card from the top of it's pile, pulling a pair of reading glasses from somewhere and sliding them onto her face. "It says 'Feline Features'... well ain't that just PEACHY for you!" she huffed, obviously unsatisfied with her revenge.
Hailey stood from her chair and twirled in place, curling her hands into mock-claws and letting out a happy "Me-OW!" that caused everyone except grumpy Grandma Jen to giggle. She'd always enjoyed looking at pictures of cat-girls and even wore her cat-ear headband to school frequently, no matter the time of year.
As her black bob swayed with her twirling, the others soon noticed two black points poking out, rapidly growing until two REAL triangular cat ears twitched atop her head. Her eyes grew larger, the blue irises spreading to fill the space as her pupils elongated vertically. Her nose flattened a bit even as it pushed out along with her mouth to form a cute, short muzzle, white whiskers pushing out just above her split upper lip. Meanwhile, her nails sharpened and grew, her slender fingers becoming a bit stubbier as they became more paw-like. Since they were all in pajamas, everyone could see that her feet, too, were changing - she'd been twirling on her tip-toes, but as they watched her arches stretched and the balls of her feet plumped to more closely resemble the hind-paws of a cat. Finally a long, black-furred tail snaked it way out of her sleep-shirt, twitching behind her as she swayed to a stop to take in her appearance.
"Now THAT is just not fair." Jen grumbled.
Hailey growled with delight, flexing her claws before reaching back to catch her new tail in her paws. "MrrrrYes! I'm the frrrreaking cat-girrl of my drreams!" she plopped back into her chair, casually fitting her long tail through the rungs of the chair-back as if she'd been doing it forever.
"Okayyyy..." Carrie tentatively picked up the dice for her turn. "I guess it's really not all bad... here goes nothing!" She let the dice tumble from her palm onto the board, turning up a...
