You thought it was great when your friend Buck moved in with you. Buck was really into 'Petplay'. Not in a sexual way. He just loved pretending to be a dog. He'd strip naked & wear only a collar & act like a dog. You even treated him as a dog. It was really fun you thought. Then something odd happened. He had developed rough pads on his hands & feet. You tried to alert Buck to these but he wouldn't break his dog character. More alarmed now you dressed him (sense he wouldn't do it himself) & took him to the hospital. You tried your best to explain what was wrong with Buck; though you didn't understand it yourself. He was taken back to be examined. You waited for what felt like hours before the doctor came out to see you. You asked what was wrong with Buck & he gestured for you to follow him. He took you to an office & instructed you to sit down; you did. "What's wrong with my friend Buck?" You demanded. The doctor sighed & asked "He was pretending to be a dog right?" You replied curious as why he asked that "Yes. Why?" The doctor answered "He's no longer pretending. He has mentally become a dog. And because of that he's physically transforming into one." You were filled with so many questions. The big ones were "What? How? And what do we do?" The doctor explained "A rare set of people have an overwhelming desire to be an animal. And some pretend so hard they are that animal that they actually start to become it. That's what's happening to Buck. He wanted to be a dog so bad that he is actually becoming one now." You were floored. "How do we stop this?" You asked. The doctor sighed & explained "No one can stop this. You must understand that Buck is no longer human mentally. He is now mentally a dog. His body is transforming into a dog because of that." "So what do I do?" You asked curious. "Treat him as a dog. Let the transformation run it's course." He told you. "Let him fully become a dog? Treat him as if he is one?" You asked dumbfounded. "Yes. He is mentally a dog. He is physically becoming a dog." He explained again. Thinking for a few you asked "Should I tell him what's happening to him?" The doctor answered "No. He wouldn't understand. He is already a dog on the inside." Thinking again for a few you asked curious "What should I do with him?" The doctor replied "Be his owner." You bit your lip & asked "Can I take him home now?" The doctor answered "Yes." "Will he continue to be able to speak?" You asked curious. The doctor answered "He already can't speak anymore. He I doubt he even remembers he ever could. And you can't reteach him. If he does he'll soon forget how & then later become incapable of doing it." "Does he still understand me? Still understand people?" You asked curious. "Yes. And you should when you get him home strip him naked & keep him that way. He is transforming into an animal." He told you. "Ok." You said. The doctor gave you a booklet that read: "So Your Friend Or Family Member Is Becoming An Animal. What To Do." You quickly read it over & it explained everything the doctor had told you & a bit more. It even had a phone number for a support group on it. You took Buck home. When you got Buck home you instructed Buck to strip completely naked. He looked confused at you & you told him "Remove everything on you. Remember how you did that before?" Buck looked further confused at you. Sighing a bit frustrated you told him "Lay on the floor & I'll do it." Buck did as instructed & you took off his shoes, socks & all his clothes making him totally naked. Now you saw he had a nub that must be the beginnings of a tail. Now remembering more what the doctor told you you told Buck "You are to go out to the backyard to piss & shit. Understood?" He nodded barking. You then questioned "You know how to open the door to the backyard?" Buck walked over on all fours & stood upright & opened the door. "Good boy." You praised him like a dog. He barked with a smile. Then the thought occurred to you. "Buck when you can no longer open it yourself let me know. I will then start letting you out." Buck looked at you confused. "You won't have hands forever Buck." You informed him. Buck looked at his hands seeming confused. You weren't sure if he even knew he had hands. You then asked him curious "What are you Buck?" He looked confused at you. "You a human?" You asked. He shook his head no & replied "D...o...g." He seemed to struggle with the word 'Dog'. The reality of this was really starting to hit you now. Buck only thought of himself as a dog. Buck is transforming into a dog. You have no choice but to treat him as the dog that he is becoming. He's your dog now.
