You don’t know how long you’ve been asleep, but it must have been for at least a few centuries. You were among the chosen few average citizens to test out a cryogenic stasis system and experience the future. Today was the day you were to reawaken, your body just as it was the day you got put in the freezer.
Of course, something must have gone wrong. The building you were in was dilapidated and destroyed. It was almost dark save for the light glowing from your stasis pod. One thought crossed your mind as you took in your surroundings:
Some kind of Apocalypse just happened.
While you were asleep, something wrong happened to the outside world. Some say that it was a virus, others magic. Whatever the case, it’s affected the whole world, and now you were being thrust into it blind and naked.
