Entity #81984: The Portapotty of Age

added A year ago AR AP O

Entity #81984
Codename: Chronopotty

Physical description: A blue-and-white box, 3.0 m in height, 1.0 m wide at the front and back, and 1.2 m wide along either side. The structure is mostly hollow, with entrance possible via a door at the front. The door may be latched from the inside using a small knob. A hole topped by a type 7B toilet seat exists atop a raised platform inside the structure. The primary material which constitutes the box has been identified as an industrial strength plastic produced between 1979 and 2008 by the Tolover Resource Solutions Corporation of Nairobi, Kenya.

Known abilities: The object accelerates or reverses the aging process of humans inside it. When a human subject enters through the structure through the door, the inside of the chamber will be clean and no immediate transformations will occur. If the door is closed, it will immediately be latched, whether the subject remembers attempting to latch the door or not. When the door is closed and latched, there will still be no noticeable transformations within 40-50 seconds. All previously recorded attempts at reopening the door during this initial time window have failed for unknown reasons. Within 50 seconds of entering, subjects will gradually begin to become biologically older or younger over the course of 1 or 2 minutes. All known attempts to unlatch the door or exit the chamber during the transformation phase have failed. After at most 2.9 minutes inside the locked chamber, the subject will cease transforming, having become at least 5 years older or younger, and will be able to open the door.

The chamber has never been known to regress human suggests beyond infancy (to the fetal, embryonic, or zygotic stages), nor is anyone known to have perished directly from rapid aging within it. No one is known to have aged or regressed by more than about 60 years within it. Younger people tend to experience a smaller change of age within the chamber than older people, perhaps because small periods of time are more developmentally significant in younger populations. Human subjects can excrete waste matter inside the chamber, but such waste will disappear before the next subject enters, for unknown reasons.

Containment: Entity #81984 is stored within a padlocked 10 cubic meter storage compartment at G.E.T. Facility B-6. It has never been observed to relocate itself under its own power. It has never been observed to exhibit transformative effects on anyone outside its own enclosed volume. Observers may presumably remain safe from its effects indefinitely by refusing to enter, or refusing to close the door upon entry. The "Chronopotty" is currently considered a low-risk object when studied by class 3 personnel from outside it. Transformed subjects are of no direct risk to others after their change is complete, but low-ranking test subjects should ideally be terminated or memory-wiped for information security purposes.
