The 5 whose new ID was T349 was a little nervous. As of today the original name he was given was useless and he was now T349. T3 49... The 5 assigned to T3 with the 49th ID. T349 was a man who looked a like he was from a latin american nation, but he had piercing ice blue eyes. He knocked on the door on a trailer door and he heard some middle-age man grumble and say "Come in." As T349 walked in he saw the trailer was cramped with books, files, and a desk. Sitting at the desk was what looked like a balding middle aged man he said "Ah, so you're the new 5 assigned to this fair. I'm your 4, Kaine Briggs." he held up his right hand for a handshake.
I went up to his hand and said "Nice to meet you Mr. Briggs. I'm T349."
"T349? This is a test site, us 4's and 5's gotta at least be able to call each other by names and have some trust. What's your actual name?"
T349 raised his eyebrow and said "T349... previously they called me 5932-12..."
Kaine groaned for a second and opened up his laptop as he searched through case file "Ah... how old are you then? A few months of education and artificial aging?"
"Yes..."
Kaine thought for a second and took out a pill and said "Swallow." T349 took the pill and swallowed it without a second thought. Kaine then brought out what looked like some sort of weird remote as he said "So for your type I like doing a trial by fire type exam. I'm going to have you go out into the Fair as a teen and see how well you do with the Entities, the 5's, and the 6's." he started inputting some commands and hit enter. The pill filled with some sort of agent allowed T349 to become a target for Kaine's tf remote. He was allowed to use it to change his underlings however he deemed fit... although if he abused it too much there would be consequences. This was a fine enough use for it though as T349's rapidly aged adult body rapidly regressed till instead of a man in his mid-twenties he was a teen around 16. Somewhat athletic, a healthy tan, looking a little more white, but his eyes were still the same ice blue. The Haze that was ever-present at the Fair started altering reality as the professional G.E.T. mandated black suit turned into cargo pants and a red T-shirt. T349's posture started slouching a little, and now Kaine was looking at a nephew or step-nephew instead of an agent from the shadow government.
"God, so are we done here and can I go out and have fun already?" T349 asked impatiently.
"They didn't even get you haze... Yeah, go out and have fun." Kaine couldn't believe he was given someone so new. Was this 1's way of testing his capabilities... or a way to say there's something you need to make another sacrifice to? He'd come to that decision when it came. What was more important now was to see how quickly T349 would develop a Haze resistance, and what sort of personality the Haze would instill him with.
Kaine pulled up the file on Entity 5932 again... Obviously he was a kid born because of the Entity, but Kaine could only wonder what was up with those ice blue eyes. It was almost like they were slightly glowing.
