“Lisa” she said, it was a three year old girl, and another woman at the door, “Hey Lisa” she said, Lisa recognized her but couldn’t think where she seen her. Just then Shannon came out from the kitchen. “Mommy” the little girl went, “Hey sweetheart” she said, rushing over and piking up her and kissing her on the forehead, “you have a great time at grandma’s” she said, “The best” she said.
Lisa stood there still confused, the little girl was her daughter and the other woman was Shannon’s mom. “What’s wrong?” Mrs. Andrews said to Lisa, “You look like you’re starring into space”
Lisa thought for a second before deciding a wish would be needed, I wish I knew what was going on” she thought. Suddenly she realized who it was, “Oh sorry Mrs. Andrews, just thinking about other things, long day you know” she said.
“Hey sweetie” she said, crouching down to the little girl. Lisa couldn’t believe that Shannon would have a three year old daughter named Victoria.
Vicky as she liked to be known hugged Lisa and then went off to her room. “Thanks for looking after her today” Shannon said to her mum, “No problem, that why I’m here for” she said, she gave Shannon a quick peek on the cheek and left, “will call you tomorrow” Shannon said, as her mum walked out the door. “Okay” she said, “bye Vicky” she shouted, “Bye Grandma” she said back and left.
“Well Dinner is served” she said to Lisa heading back into the Kitchen.
