While he was thinking, he knew he had to take into account quite a bit. Even if he could get into one now, he knew that he might not be able to get out whenever he wanted. Perhaps it may even take a few days for an opportunity to get out to arrive, even if he goes in right now.
He kept looking over his parents, trying to decide which part to enter from. Footsteps started to approach, and seemed to be coming this way; Jeff noticed this, and quickly hides down in the shadows. Not being able to identify who was coming made it difficult, since it could impact his ability to get in. "Please just be getting a glass of water... I would rather not deal with anyone right now."
He saw a figure in the shadows, reaching the bottom of the stairs. "Mommy? I'm thirsty..." Upon hearing the voice, he knew exactly who it was. "Shit, of course it's her. She might not leave without waking them up!"
She seemed to have noticed the glow from the TV their parents left on, and started to walk over. Jeff made sure to stay hidden, knowing that she wouldn't see him. "Wait, maybe she Would be a good idea right now. She can't see me, so even if I did it by force... She wouldn't know it's me!"
She walked around to the front of the couch, seeing their parents. "Mommy? Daddy?" She seemed to try and wake them up. "This might not be good..."
