Entity #42069.
Codename: Irreality Orb.
Description: The Irreality Orb is a small, pale blue orb about the size of a cantaloupe. Emits an extremely high pitched audio frequency that triggers extreme and vivid hallucinations if heard by humans.
Known Abilities: It is able to relocate itself at a set 3 minute interval to any spot within 1,500m of its current location, in a sphere shaped area. Completely indestructible by any known means. Causes anyone within 15m of the it to go into a hypnotic, trance-like state and begin vividly hallucinating. Hallucinations are almost always transformative in nature according to studies and interviews with those who have been affected.
However a small portion of them had instead, experienced more... situational scenes. Often depicting themselves either in an out-of-body manner or from the perspective of another, who is observing the victim's body. Though some cases have even reported experiencing a completely new reality, and had forgotten about our reality all together until they were rescued.
While it isn't necessary lethally dangerous, there is still a certain level of concern present. This is because of the prolonged effects of being in the trance has on the body. If the victim does not snap out of their trance on their own, or is not woken up through external means before 12 hours have passed, the victim's body will begin undergoing a transformation into a new form that matches the body or form the victem currently is experiencing being in, in their hallucination. This is an irreversible change as well, and can cost the victim their life if their targeted form is inanimate.
Containment: Currently at large, as it is impossible to contain due to its teleportation ability. However it is monitored and it's current estimated location is somewhere within a 15km radius of Central Park in New York City, New York.
-Last know case discovered approx: ~12 minutes ago in Central Park, NYC, NY.
Other: Origin unknown, though suspected to have come down from space durring a meteor shower back in the early 2000's, although no confirming evidence to support that statement currently exists.
