With the completion of her transformation she has become energized and recuperative. It takes little time for her to recover and come to grips with her state of being. The doe lets out an exhausted sigh of relief and manages to sit up. Her very first thoughts are that despite the stress of her changes, her new form feels delightful and she’s quite possibly the luckiest living creature in the world.
She brushes her short fluffy hair out of her eyes with her left hand and braces herself with her right. Comfortable and relaxed, she now has all the time in the world to examine herself. After all, she thinks with a growing smile, she’d better get use to this new self.
She starts by standing up. Her center of gravity has shifted considerably from how she originally learned to walk, and she stumbles several times and nearly falls over as she wobbles on two legs like a human woman trying to wear high heels for the first time. Eventually she finds her balance once again, and gently walks toward the riverbank with all the fluid graceful motions of a deer.
She comes to the bank and kneels down to look at her reflection in the water. A pair of bright green eyes imbued with the glorious fire of inquisitive intelligence stare back at her. She grins and her reflection does the same, showing off her pearly white plant-eater’s teeth. Now she looks over herself curiously. She is a svelte six feet two inches tall, with an athletic muscle build that has carried over from her original form. She flexes and finds herself to be strong with shape-defining muscle. She is simply wonderful.
Eventually she grows bored of staring at her beautiful reflection and lays back at the edge of the water, taking in the sun with her eyes closed. She feels glorious, full of life and purpose.
