Her nerves racked by the stress of quickly creating her false identity, and likely tired due to her new age Selina ended up falling asleep in the crib. She didn't know exactly how long she slept, but it must have been a while because she woke up to find herself cradled in a man's arms as he was chatting with a nurse. Looking up at the stranger she was surprised to see it was the client who had hired her to steal the pills. He must have come to rescue her! Though relieved that her ordeal was over Selina was embarrassed at being seen as a toddler girl in diapers. Speaking of which she remembered her earlier accident and checked her padding only to find it nice and dry, the garment crinkling between her legs. Figuring that a nurse must have changed her out of the wet one while she was asleep. The short nap also did wonders for her as she now felt wide awake and energized. Turning her attention to the conversation taking place for the first time since she awoke, Selina quickly discovered it was regarding her being discharged.
"Again I can't thank you enough for taking care of my little angel here" the man commented to the nurse with a grateful smile.
"It's no trouble at all" the woman replied before frowning, "Actually it's a good thing you came to pick her up now. We recently had a break in a few hours ago in our secure storage area and hospital security along with the police are currently investigating" she informed.
"Lucky timing I guess" the man nonchalantly replied, "Anyway I hope you catch whoever's responsible."
"Don't worry we will."
Selina had to suppress a giggle as that person was being held right in front of her, wearing nothing but a size four Pampers. The gown she had worn previously had been taken back as it wasn't unusual for children her age to go about in nothing but their padding. Becoming relatively uninterested in the rest of the conversation she proceeded to suck her thumb and casually looked around.
"Now just sign these release forms and you'll be all set to take her home" the nurse said while holding out a clipboard with a chained pen attached to it.
Selina then felt the client shift holding her to one arm, propping her over her shoulder with his hand pressing against and supporting her padded butt. With his free hand he hastily wrote his signature, and if she were to guess it was likely a fake name.
Sucking her thumb contently Selina got the feeling that she was forgetting something important. It wasn't until they were ready to go that she remembered the the stuffed bear with the bottle of pills hidden inside. However before she could say anything the client showed he had it covered.
"And didn't she have a teddy bear when I arrived?" he asked in a polite tone.
"Oh right, here you go sweetie" the nurse cooed as handed the plush toy to Selina, who took it and hugged it closely. To onlookers it must have looked adorable but in reality she was checking to see if the pill bottle was still inside, and thankfully it was.
The man bid the woman farewell before taking his leave. Carrying Selina out of the hospital they passed a large group of police officers and a circle of police cars with their lights flashing. She was momentarily worried they might get stopped and question but they were allowed to pass without issue. Apparently a father taking his baby girl home didn't arouse their suspicions. Taking her to his parked car she was quickly placed in a car seat on the passenger side while the man got into the driver's seat and they drove off.
Now that they were in the clear they could talk openly.
"Good work back there Selina. I take it the pills are hidden in the bear you're holding?" he asked.
Pulling her thumb from her mouth to respond, "Yeah, but how did you know I was in trouble?"
"An associate of mine was monitoring the hospital's online records. He noticed you put up that fake record of admission and figured you must have been forced to use the pills to regress to avoid detection. Smart move by the way going as young as you did, no one would think of a girl still in diapers as being the thief, even if they knew they were after the pills."
"Thank you" Selena proudly beamed at the compliment, even though turning herself into a toddler had been a spur of the moment decision.
"Once we get back to my place we can talk business. Also I have some spare diapers in case you need to be changed."
Selina wriggled her bottom and heard the dry rustle of clean padding.
"Nah, I'm good" she answered with an odd sense of pride.
The rest of the drive passed in silence until they arrived at a lavish looking mansion style house. Obviously her employer was very well off. A person was waiting who took the car after her client removed her from the car seat, carrying her inside. They quickly made their way to his private office where he set her down to stand on the floor while took the teddy bear from her. Opening it up he removed both the flash drive and bottle. Holding up the latter the man gazed at the pills inside with a look of pure joy.
"At long last I finally hold the fountain of youth in my hands" he breathed.
Seeing her client forget that she was there Selina spoke up.
"Right, now I fulfilled my part of the deal. You said five million for the data and another five for the pills. I got you both so you owe me ten million" she said easily adding up the total.
"You'll be paid reassured but first I've waited too long to reclaim my youth so you'll forgive me if I don't waste a second longer."
Unscrew the cap on the bottle the man paused in his rush long enough to count out the number of pills before tossing them in his mouth and swallowing. Selina didn't see how many he took but was able to figure it out seconds later when the guy, who was in his early forties, suddenly became...
