Diana got up and brought a cordless phone to Brad, who had collapsed in a corner arm
chair. With a claw-tip, Brad dialed his teammate Sam's number. After a short
conversation, Brad turned the phone off and facing the ladies in the room, announced that
their next "convert" would arrive in less than twenty minutes. Brad, picturing in his mind
the incredible transformation Sam was about to undergo, felt himself strangely aroused
and looking down, noticed that his beardom was slowly poking from out of its sheath. In
fact, Brad had decided that he wanted Sam's transformation to be triggered by his fooling
around with Daisy, the only one of the cheerleaders who had yet to become part-animal.
Sam had a big crush on Daisy and had talked with his buddies non-stop for the last week
about his plans to ask her out to the prom. Brad mulled over all the ways he could change
Sam- and maybe even Daisy. Sam was a fairly big guy and for a moment, Brad considered
making him a fellow ursine. However, Brad's territorial urges began to kick in and he
suddenly found the idea of having a fellow bear around him to be a bad one. "Maybe
some big jungle cat like a lion or a tiger" thought Brad to himself, "or what about
something really crazy like a dinosaur!" On the other hand, Brad had the chance of a
lifetime to play a killer joke on Sam. "How funny would it be if I turned Sam into
something dumb like a squirrel or bird or something" he thought.
