The next day you waited at the spot for Karyn, but she didn’t show up. Surprisingly, it was Sarah that showed up instead. She stormed towards you, visually upset.
“What the hell did you do to Karyn?!” Sarah shouted.
“Huh?” You replied, pretending to be ignorant.
“I know you have the stone. I know that Karyn didn’t look like that yesterday,” Sarah replied.
You were shocked that she found out. Why would Karyn tell Sarah? Did she see and hear everything?
“Your grandpa wasn’t the only grandpa on the trip to South America. And I didn’t always look like this either. I have a rock too, and I know what you did to Karyn,” Sarah said.
It clicked. Sarah seemed so perfect, so popular. I knew she was good looking, but it did seem unrealistic for that many men to be this obsessed over her. All of this was a wish.
“But why do you care how I use it? And I didn’t do it. She did it to herself… on accident,” you said.
“I care because I know how dangerous it is, and you shouldn’t be using it so liberally. I know from experience that you are going to get someone hurt, or you are going to be unable to fix a mistake,” she replied.
It then clicked that Sarah may regretted her wish to be so irresistible to men.
“So why isn’t Karyn here? Did you have something to do with it?” You ask.
