“I think I am going to go with John. Imperia isn’t that far away anyways, and I think it’s smart if we find out what happened,” you said.
“Alright! Thank you, Dylan,” John said.
“I guess I’m hiding by myself. Here is my number, call me if you need any help,” Todd said, before exchanging numbers with you and John.
“Well, hopefully we see you later… while still being men,” you said.
You weren’t very good at using any traveling spells, but luckily John knew what he was doing. After teleporting a couple of times, you both ended up in the center of Imperia.
The first thing you noticed is how different the city was from before. The architecture of the buildings were different. Any signs that had men on them were replaced with women. The streets were mostly empty, but you did see a few people. All of them, female.
John immediately pulled you aside and handed you a very tiny pill.
“I put this together before we left just in case. If you eat it, you can disguise yourself as anyone for a short period of time. I have a feeling that men aren’t welcome here,” John said.
You agreed and took the pill. You imagined yourself as a 14 year old girl. You turned to John and saw a 20 year old woman.
“This isn’t a transformation. It’s just an illusion. Our bodies are still male. And for now on, let’s just pretend we are sisters, ok?”
“Ok,” you responded.
You both started to walk through the streets noticing all the changes. The town is certainly much more feminine, with any statues and reference to men removed or replaced. On a big screen tv in one of the stores, you noticed what actually happened.
On the screen was the general of the magical girls division on the big screen giving a speech. “As the new leader of the magical world, I am announcing the Clothing and Accessories Replacement Act. For far too long, prior to our coup today, the men in the governments in the realm of magic have been in control far too long. Monsters have ran rampant. Mortals have started to find out about our existence. Vulnerable fairies had their habitats destroyed. And men don’t even make up the majority of magic users. Why should they be a part of government? They don’t represent us! They have done nothing but ruin this realm of magic, and we are going to fix that!”
Cheers were heard through the television.
“The magical girls division led a coup? It looks like they joined with the fairies and witches divisions and easily conquered the capital. And what did they mean by the Clothing and Accessories Replacement Act?” John asked.
“Listen,” you commanded.
“Earlier today we have started our push to transform male magic users female in order to correct their evil ways. If men want to still be men, they can forfeit their magic and join with the mortals. Magic should be for women only. Unfortunately, we didn’t expect the influx of new women to enter the magical world to happen so fast. That is why we are passing the Clothing and Accessories Replacement Act. Cute clothes and accessories are out of stock throughout the magical world. With the current shortage on magical clothing and accessories, many are relying on mortal clothes, which lack the magical source that we magical women need. Spending time without magical sources like this can be dangerous. This act should fix that problem, by not only legalizing the transformation of men into clothing and accessories, but rewarding it. Any male magic user you find must either be turned into a female equivalent, or transformed into cute clothes or accessories.”
“This is not good,” you said.
“Yeah. What do we do? I don’t want to spend an eternity as some fairy’s necklace or something.”
“I think we either hide, fight back, turn into girls, or forfeit our powers,” you suggested.
“Hmmmm. I don’t really like any of those options, but I think we have to pick one. Maybe you should choose, Dylan.”
