Parking Caleb's jeep the four now made their way towards the mall entrance. Spark taking Connors hand as she practically dragged him inside. "Cmon what are you waiting for," she exclaimed.
As the group made their way through the mall, Caleb and Gloria could barely contain their laughter, as the fairy turned human zipped from store to other.
"Oh my GOD this is delicious," Spark exclaimed as she shoveled a soft pretzel into her mouth. "And look at the size of this soda. Connor, I've never had a soda this big before!"
Connor was obviously flummoxed, his eyes continually studying the green haired junior high girl in front of him. After a quick bite to eat, Spark now dragged Connor inside an arcade. "Caleb you got money," she asked. Caleb nodded, giving the two $30 each as they now sprinted away.
"She has no idea does she," Caleb snickered.
"Nope," Gloria laughed. "Which makes me wonder, just how old is Spark anyway?"
"Not sure to be honest," Caleb said. "I mean we celebrate her birthday every year but she never tells us her age. I do know shes an adult for a fairy."
"Has she ever had a boyfriend?"
"Your guess is as good as mine," Caleb shrugged. "All I know is these two needed this. Thanks for suggesting it."
Gloria smiled, placing a gentle kiss on Caleb's cheek. "Hey I'll be back in a minute," she said. "Gonna have some girl talk with Spark."
Caleb nodded, watching as his girlfriend now made her way through the arcade. It didn't take the teen long, as she could hear Spark celebrating a win.
"First place BA BEE!!!!"
Gloria grinned, watching as Spark now hopped around happily before squeezing Connor in a tight hug. The 12 year old blushing crimson as the pretty punk rock girl beamed at him. "So you ready for something else?"
"Uh huh," Connor squeaked. Spark smiled, not seeming to realize just how much she was flirting with him. Gloria now called for Spark, the punk rock girl bounding over to her. "How you doing Spark?"
"Great," she exclaimed. "Didnt realize being human could be this much fun! Wonder of this means Caleb will have me going to high school like this?"
"Um you look a little young for high school."
Spark paused, raising an eyebrow as she gave Gloria a critical look. "What are you talking about?"
"Well," Gloria replied meekly, rubbing her neck. "Right now I'd say you look closer to 12."
"Twelve!!!!!"
"Maybe 13."
Sparks mouth dropped, the fairy in total shock. "Geez what the hell," she exclaimed. "Why am I so freaking young?"
"It just seemed natural," Gloria shrugged. "I'm surprised you didn't notice. Besides, I figured this way you and Connor could hangout."
"Well I've never been human before," Spark shrugged. "And yeah Connor has been alot of fun."
"Which is what I wanted to talk with you about," Gloria stated. "You do realize he's crushing on you right now."
Spark was stunned, looking between Gloria and Connor with wide eyes.
"Shut up," she gasped. "You bullshiting me?"
"Nope," Gloria replied. "So, what do you think?"
"I dunno," Spark shrugged. "I mean he's a cute kid and all. Still, he likes me?"
"Yep," Gloria said. "So how would you handle this as a fairy?"
"Well when fairies like eachother we just bone and get it over with."
"Geez," Gloria exclaimed. "Please don't do that!"
Spark sighed, being human obviously had its draw backs. "Ugh this sucks," she moaned. "What the hell do 12 year olds do if they like eachother. What, am I supposed to pass a note asking if he likes me or if he likes me likes me?"
Gloria chuckled, remembering doing something similar when she was that age. "How about just hanging out with him," she said. "Try to make him comfortable."
"Fine," Spark sighed. Gloria now watched as Spark returned to Connors side, giving the boy a friendly smile as they now made theirvway towards another game. Hopefully the transformed fairy could have fun with Connor without making things awkward.
