“So what exactly are these?” Jasper asked glancing at a little zip lock bag with a collection of what looked like little green and blue coffee beans.
“Magic beans.” Molly responded with a hint of glee in her voice.
“No, really.” Jasper looked at Molly like her response was about the stupidest thing he had hear all day.
“The guy called them magic beans.”
“And I suppose on your way to the market, you traded our cow for them?”
“Funny.”
“Had to go there.”
“No, he said they are a fun little drug that you use to play. He wasn’t to specific about what they did. Said you take them. Go about your day with whoever you want or on your own and you will find yourself playing.” Molly explained
“Playing?”
“You know like when you were a kid. You just latch onto something and start playing. They magically enhance you, what you do, how you feel. That kind of stuff. Let you enjoy whatever or where ever your imagination takes you to.”
“Sounds wild, how long does it last?”
“There are weekend beans and those last for like a couple of days. There are others that only go for like 4 hours. I got both.”
“So when do you want do this?”
“Saturday morning?”
Saturday.
