Anna's brain was thoroughly clouded by the nascent identity of Owen, thanks to the overpowering influence of the skinsuit she is wearing. Under this influence, she decided she would not take off the skinsuit anytime soon but would instead simply do her best to live as a man named Owen. Joe blinked in disbelief. He stepped inside, closed the apartment door and placed the bouquet on a small table. Joe puts both hands on the apparent man's shoulders and looks him deep in the eyes. He notices the man's eyes were the exact light blue color as Anna's, and he even recognizes the small brown speck his girlfriend has in her left iris. It had to be her!
"Anna is that really you?" He asks instinctively although now he was pretty sure he knew it was her in the skinsuit.
Anna/Owen smiled and nodded. "Yes silly it's me! But please do NOT call me Anna anymore, okay?" His voice got serious suddenly. "I'm still the same person as before, sure, but please try to understand that calling me by that name negates my new gender and therefore is intensely insulting and disrespectful! I'll let it slide for now because I love you but let's make it very clear, I am NOT a woman anymore, after putting on the skinsuit I had an epiphany. I realized I should be a man, Joe. I should have ALWAYS been a man. Yes, I am transgender, Joe, and there's no talking me out of this. So please try to call me Owen from now on and ONLY refer to me in male pronouns!!!" Owen basically screamed this in Joe's face, his voice intensely defensive yet aggressive. Joe took a moment to take this all in, he clearly thought something was off, he knew Anna was absolutely a straight woman through and through and she would never say anything like that. Seeing Anna now huffing out of breath and clenching her fists, Joe wouldn't dare confront her...him...whatever, in this current mood. The confused woman turned man looked ready to beat him up if he didn't indulge her/his delusion. So Joe decided to play along for now.
He hugged Anna gently to calm her down. "Hey it's okay OWEN, I fully support you and I love you. I'll never misgender you I promise."
Anna seemed to calm down hearing this. Joe caresses Anna's chubby male cheek and then straightens her bowtie and shirt collar, smiling at her fondly. "And I love your new outfit. You're very elegant and handsome, Owen!"
Anna smiles proudly. "Thank you!! This is so much better than that slutty female trash I used to wear, you agree right?! Never again, right Joe?! I hate that stuff now, I hate the old me with a passion now, don't you?! It's so much better that I'm a man now, and I AM a man now!
