Terry pondered on his choice for a few moments. While the idea of having a helpful male roommate around the house didn't sound too bad, he reasoned that he'd rather keep Denise as a female, at least for now. "Yeah, I think we'll go with the EVE-01 suit" He tells the old man. "But can we also customize the appearance a bit?"
"Sure we can sir." The old man confidently replied.
After struggling to get Denise undressed, Terry holds her still as he pushes her inside the mech-suit whose back was now opened up. Once inside, the suit activates and quickly closes up and seals up the seams as though they weren't even there.
Now inside the EVE-01 suit, Denise flails about in a panic, realizing to her horror she could now feel through the suit's naked skin as if it were her own! She runs to a large nearby wall mirror and screams in an unfamiliar voice when she sees her reflection. She's been turned into someone else, into this bland looking, doe-eyed blonde lady with her plain looking face and her average looking figure.
The old man picks up a small device which resembled a remote control and shows it to Terry. He explains that with this device he can practically have control of the EVE-01 with the press of a button. To demonstrate, the old man points the device at Denise and presses a button, activating the mech-suit's personality override.
Immediately Denise calms down and becomes quiet. An fake looking, wide smile blooms on her face as she straightens up her posture, legs close together and shoulders pushed backwards, modest chest pushing outwards instead. She touches her face gingerly, then fixes her tight bun expertly as she nods to herself in self-approval.
Denise turns around in a slightly artificial looking motion and she walks up to Terry, extending her right hand forward.
"Greetings Terry, I am Eve, pleased to meet you. Please excuse my current nude state, I shall amend this as soon as you let me know what you'd like me to wear. I exist to assist you and strive to please you."
Terry shook her hand, a bit confused but pleasantly surprised at this new attitude. Her voice also sounded completely different now. A professional sounding, polite tone and a somewhat husky, warm voice.
"Uh, nice to meet you Eve... You uh, you may wear whatever you like... you have an entire wardrobe here... surprise me, I guess" Terry says.
As "Eve" disappears to the back of the large room behind the clothing racks, Terry turns to the old man. "So, she's a new person now? I mean, is she even still Denise or is she now just... this Eve lady?"
"She is a new person sir, one who is well behaved and lives to be ever helpful to you. Just like you wanted right?" The old man replies, a bit darkly.
"Okay but, I mean Denise still exists right? I mean I love her I don't want her to be gone forever..."
"Don't worry, you can always just turn off the personality override and Denise will be back. You can also just deactivate the mech-suit with a simple click and she'll be able to exit Eve's body and that's that. Simple, no?"
"Alright... Well if I turn the personality off now, she'll be pissed again, so... I guess for now I'd like to meet this Eve person and get better acquainted. She seems like a nice lady... right?"
The old man just sighs and goes to his desk to ready the scanner for the transaction.
As Terry pays with his card, Eve re-emerges from behind the clothing racks. What did she deem appropriate to wear?
