"I will make a deal with you, I get my arm workout in, and then we go out if I can curl your bodyweight ten times."
"Deal," she says. "My name is Cheryl, what is your?" You tell her your name and then say, "Okay, how much do I need to curl to get the date?" Cheryl says, "I am a rock solid 165 lbs!" You learn that she is a fitness athlete who is changing over to bodybuilding and is in a bulking phase. "Look at these pipes," she says, flexing her arms. You are stunned when you realize she has nearly 17 inch arms. She adds, "I am a lot of woman - I thought you should be able to handle me!" adding a wink.
"Time for a warm up set," you think to yourself. You put on 25 lbs. on either end of the bar, for 95 lbs. total. Cheryl goes "that is not going to do it, you are not all show and no go are you?"
"No, I want to warm up first," you say. You stand over the bar and do with good form ten reps. "Now for the real work" you state. You load up the bar now to her bodyweight, 165 lbs. Your arms bulge as you crank out ten more reps at the weight. Your realize that this is doable but tough. Cheryl looks on in amazement as you do it. You tell her, "Not done yet!" You add 20 more lbs. and force another 6 reps at 185. You leave the weight there and do two more sets for six and then five reps. You are drained, but you know you have succeeded.
Cheryl says, "So you are some 'go' aren't you?" Well, if you are done working out time to get cleaned up and out of here.
You realize you left the wand at home, and cannot clean up, so you say, "I have to go home first since my clothes are there." She says, want a ride in my car?" You say....
