Since the majority of the heads on the dads' body were still passed out, Ethan and Scott decided to have the gang eat dinner in the living room tonight. With that, the three sets of conjoined triplets walked off into the kitchen to get some food. They took as much as they could carry and brought it out in a few trips, being careful not to spill anything, especially anything hot. They got some waters, plates, and silverware, and laid everything out on the tables around the couch and chairs. Due to their shared stomachs, no one needed to put much in their own mouths, since the people they were conjoined with would help to fill their stomachs as well. They spent the next hour eating, chatting, and watching television.
After a while, at long last, the heads of the other dads were beginning to move, which meant they were coming to. Everyone stopped what they were doing, turned off the TV, and held perfectly still. One by one, Fred, George, Larry, and Joe opened their eyes. When they did, it took a few seconds for them to notice their sons—and that their sons were attached to other boys, and that they themselves were attached to each other in a large black shirt. Needless to say, they were more than a bit surprised; however, as soon as Ethan, Scott, and the others got them to calm down and explained everything, they were certainly a bit more relaxed.
"Well, I guess we're glad that this doesn't have to be permanent," said Fred.
"And it looks like you boys have gotten a little 'closer' with your friends today," joked George.
"Oh, definitely, Dad," said Brian.
"You know, I think I kinda see you guys like this conjoined thing," said Larry. "It feels good an weird at the same time."
"Yeah," said Joe. "It's like your body, but at the same time it's someone else's, too."
"Glad you like it," said Ethan. He and Scott were glad, because it sounded like the six of them were going to be conjoined for a good while.
After a few minutes, the dads decided that they should indeed "stick together" for a while. This also established a conjoined family tree: Fred-George-Ethan-Scott-Larry-Joe were now the combined fathers of Kevin-Allan-Dean, Brian-Luke-Nick, and Mark-Max-Zack. To make it official, they even decided on an all-male family portrait. The dads got up from the couch, and got the digital camera out of the cabinet. The teens got in place while their dads set up the camera on its tripod, with Brian-Luke-Nick on the left, Mark-Max-Zack on the right, and Kevin-Allan-Dean in the middle. After setting the timer, the dads then quickly got behind the group, and put their arms on their kids' shoulders. Every head stared at the camera and smiled, some with teeth, some without. After the camera snapped the picture, the group did a few more shots, then decided on the best one before printing and framing it there in the house.
It really was a remarkable picture of what was now a remarkable family. There were six dads and nine teenagers, conjoined and sharing clothes, and perfectly happy and relatively content. In that moment, they couldn't think of anything that would ruin their time together.
