"Ah...so- nnnnggghh, it would appear that my..my test from the all mother has a voice of his own" said Sif as she slowly waddled over to her bed, taking her rooms surroundings in, her room was a rectangular shape, with carved pillars in each corner, oeither side of the room was a square window, with leather curtains that were pinned down to keep the spray and wind of the sea at bay.
She had a bed at the far end of the room, brown and grey furs covering its straw mattress, with two down pillows in tan covers at the end, a large headrest keeping the pillows from the wall, its rim decorated with carvings and runes, on the left side of the bed was a barrel that acted like a bedside counter with candles and a locked gold detailed box ontop, above the bed was a large white dear head, its antlers as large as the bed frame, a pair of hammers crossed below its neck.
The floor was littered with furs, the wooden floor visible in some parts, with a dresser and wardrobe which had been a gift from her people in Norway, its handles for both having wooden wolf heads holding the handles in place, the dresser a gift from her mother, and the dresser a gift from her aunt, to give her a feeling of home on her journeys, and right now Sif needed that comfort more than ever.
"Yeah.....yeah I...I do" came an echoed male voice, it sounded faint and weak, but he was definitely there.
"Well then...cou- could you possibly keep still for a second, your kinda' nnnnggghh gods above YOUR PRESSING YOUR HEAD INTO MY RIBS" Cried Sif as she cradled her belly, until suddenly the movement came to a standstill.
Sif let out a sigh of relief as she then took a seat on the padded stool of her dresser, her back to the mirror and draws as she leaned back on her elbow, letting her swolen belly stick out "thank you....um, sorry but I think I should ask the name if my task from the gods" said Sif, rubbing a hand in small circles at her belly's peak.
"Alex.....Alex.....my name...is- is Alex" murmured Alex, his voice thick with sleep as he gently stretched out his arms, hearing a small grunt from Sif.
"Well then Alek, i would say its a pleasure to meet you, however, with our odd situation, I think that it's more an honour to meet one chosen by the all mother to give me care for" said Sif with a small smile as she certessed over where she guessed Alek's head was.
Alex was tempted to correct her pernounciation of his name, bit the feeling of drowsiness was proving too much, maby when he awoke he could communicate more efficiently.
"My jarl your needed on deck, the clan has spotted a- OH DEER ALLMOTHER, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU!" Came the shreek of a muffled voice, but Alex was already falling into the depths of sleep....
