After paying for the mech-suit as well as the clothes Eve picked as her first and as of yet only outfit, Terry waits for Eve to meticulously fold up Denise's old clothes and place them in a bag. Once she's ready to go, Terry waves to the old man and intends to leave but the old shopkeeper stops him. Apparently it was required to create some legal ID documents for Eve before she could be set free into the world, so to say.
Eve politely complied and she was weighed and measured, then she had a couple of mugshots taken. She smiled proudly when she saw the pictures but when she saw her new ID card with her new picture placed next to one of Denise (with Denise being listed as "real identity"), she looked a bit offended. She wrinkled her short snub nose, puffs out her already chubby cheeks and stuck her tongue out at the image of her slim and attractive "real" self. Terry had to admit he thought she looked kind of cute, and he giggled in amusement. "Jealous of yourself, Eve? Isn't that a bit weird?"
Eve blushed and adjusted her thick glasses. "I'm nothing of the sort, don't say that please. I'm not jealous, I just don't like the idea of being labeled as a... not real identity... Although I will admit, having a picture of this... sexy, feminine and vulgar siren I used to be, with those sharp fine features, striking blue eyes and red painted smile... with her long thin neck and her cleavage on display... right next to my current appearance, well it doesn't seem too fair... doesn't do my self esteem any favors." Eve self consciously rubs her nose.
Terry dares to place his hands on her shoulders to give her a light caress. "Chin up, Eve. You may not be as feminine, but you look smart, serious and polite. Your appearance appropriately matches your new persona... and I find your little pug nose cute in its own way, don't worry!"
She hugs him and even gives him a shy peck on the lips before the two of them finally head back home.
Once back at the apartment, Eve prepares hot tea for the both of them and goes to login at Denise's computer, intent on looking for a job straight away. Denise used to work at a seedy strip club when she met Terry, but had been unemployed for months. Eve didn't yet know what line of work she had in mind, but it certainly will NOT be anything like a stripper. Terry follows her into the bedroom and watches amused at the way Eve clears her desk of all the makeup and nail polish products strewn about. "All this trash goes straight to where it belongs, the bin!" She mutters under breath.
"Heh, so I guess you hate makeup now huh? You never want to use makeup again, Eve?"
"I don't hate all makeup per se... I'm still, ugh, female, technically speaking, but I won't touch this slutty stuff anymore... way too feminine for the new me... maybe I could consider applying a nude look, on occasion, if you really insist I do. I'm more the soap and water type though, hope you're not disappointed... "
"You're kinda funny Eve. I don't mind the clean faced look, but what do you mean by, technically still female? You are a woman are you not? Are you trying to tell me you're a lesbian now? Is that why you told me no sex earlier?"
Eve shakes her head blushing. "I... No! I don't know, I'm still... new to myself so I guess we'll see how things turn out, okay? About the no sex thing, I meant you know, that you don't have to... like me if you don't like me... if you'd prefer we'd just be friends, you know? But I'm open... Terry, I've not decided anything yet..."
"Understood, don't worry Eve I'll respect you whatever you decide. I'm okay with you becoming a lesbian even if that would mean we won't be a couple anymore."
"...Thank you. Thank you for being so open minded, Terry, I feel much more at ease now... "
"You're welcome..." Terry says, though in his head he wasn't too sure he liked where this could go.
"We'll see how it goes... For now I think I'm ready to apply for a job. I'm looking at a few various positions right now. I thought about it as we spoke. I think I might apply for..."
