You remember there was an open house today over on Parkwood Blvd. The Smith's old house before they moved to Dubai, despite being 2 blocks away you could always hear when their daughter had huge parties. It had a pool, hot tub, 6 bedrooms, a huge basement and every other modern appliance you can think of.
'Mine.' You think to yourself. You walk down the stairs and into the living room and approach your mother, sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Honey what have you got th-." she is cut off by the sight of the charm, which her eyes follow intently.
"Mom I'm taking the Smith's old house and moving out, I'm 21 now and should really have a place of my own now." you say to her bluntly.
You notice your mother suddenly snap out of her trance as if nothing had happened. "Oh that's great Jack! I'm so proud of you, oh and what a place for your first house. Me and your Dad lived in a cramped apartment for 12 years before we could afford this house you know?" she says, giddy for you.
"Yeah I know mom, the property market is evil, it's all because of the sacrifices you guys made for me that I could get a place so young. Ok i'm going to go finalise the deal, I'll see you soon mom, love you." You give her a quick hug and take off again, running to Parkwood.
You arrive in the high-end neighborhood, with your future home standing like a diamond in the rough compared to the other houses, you see a realtor standing by the house, a tall blonde woman in her late 20's, she was actually really hot. As you approach her she looks at you puzzled.
"Hi I'm here for the open house?" You say cheerily. "Excuse me? you think you can afford this property? stop playing around kid." She scoffs.
You pull the amulet out from your pocket and wave it around. At first she looks even more weirded out but then her expression drops and she stands motionless, ready to hear your commands.
"I cannot afford this property you're right, but as a PR gesture you and your toxic firm are going to just give me the house AND you're gonna pay all my bills for life, you're gonna give me the keys now and then you're gonna hurry back to your office and get all the paperwork done today. And another thing, I'm not a kid, I'm 21, and as a pretty good-looking 21 year old with a property like this I'd say I'm quite the catch, sow how about we go to dinner sometime? if I'm not too busy that is." As you lower the amulet you see her expression return to reality.
"Oh, I'm sorry sir, here are your keys. Everything is fully furnished and all the amenities are working, let me know if there's anything else we at Holmes Estates can help you with. And here." She takes your phone and puts in two numbers.
"The first one is the firm and the second..." She blushes "Is my personal, call me." She whispers seductively. Before she gets into her car and drives off you notice her take one last good look at you, biting her lip.
With that out of the way you unlock the door and enter your new home, it is nothing short of a palace, with luxurious paintings, chandeliers, even the kitchen appliances are made with some obscure metal only a filthy rich family could afford. You find the master bedroom and spring onto the soft, airy mattress. 'God I could get used to this.' you think to yourself.
However, the place does seem a tad empty, after all no one ought to live in a place like this alone. You decide you want some company in your new home, what do you do?
