“Yes, I did,” Terry mumbled.
“Number one or number two?” Larry asked.
“Number two.”
“Oh, Terry!”
“I know, I know.”
“I thought we finally moved past that!”
“So did I, but then I had Mexican food for lunch.”
“You know better than that!”
Amber sulked in the backseat. When she changed “wet” to “messed”, she hadn’t expected the result to be what was quickly turning into a full-blown fight. She was the daughter, she should be the center of attention!
She made herself the subject of the app again and generated a new sentence.
“Amber is able to hold her bowel movements.”
That would attract the attention of her bickering dads, surely. Amber changed “is” to “isn’t”. She let out a loud fart as the contents of her bowel promptly emptied into her diaper. The stench made her eyes water.
“Sounds like you aren’t the only one who made a mess today,” Larry said.
“Shut up and pull over so that I can change her,” Terry snapped. “Amber can’t sit in a poopy diaper for the entire car ride.”
“I’m pulling over, I’m pulling over,” Larry muttered. He pulled over. Terry got out of the car and grabbed Amber, placing her on her back on the seat to change her filthy diaper. During the diaper change, Larry continued to fire barbs at Terry for not being potty-trained.
It was actually starting to make Amber feel bad for her dad.
Once she had been changed and they were on the road again, Amber pulled up the app, hoping to make things a bit easier on Terry.
