Polypenis Syndrom, Supernumary Penis Growth or more colloqually Dicksprout: no matter what you call it, this new disease will change your life for better or worse depending on how you look at it.
Dicksprout generally only affects female humans and is very infectious, but as you know there is always a first. Scientists are still figuring out when and why it affects certain women, but the matter of fact is that this disease is common enough that most people will know at least one female individual affected by it and nearly every women is a carrier, even if they have no symptoms.
Dicksprout can work in three different ways, although any combination of these can apply.
The first symptom includes women growing one or more penises in the crotch area. These can be of varying sizes. Afflicted usually only grow up to three penises with seemingly random orientation and positioning, however these penises tend to be of the same size. More than three of these growing is highly rare. Testicles can appear, some grow as many pairs as penises, some only grow one pair. On some people these pairs can even end up in the same sack. Sometimes the afflicted person doesn't grow any testicles at all. In some extremely rare cases, a cluster of penises can grow, with all of them sharing the same outer skin layer. The vagina of the afficted usually isn't affected by this symptom at all.
The second symptom is slightly less common, but not all that rare either. Victims can have body parts grow and distort to turn into penises. Although limbs turning into penises doesn't happen, victims can have things like their clitoris, nipples, tongue, nose, tailbone and so on turn into penises. There have even been two confirmed cases where victims had their finger and toes turn into dicks respectively. This symptom is so erradic that just about anything could turn into a dick, even something as tiny as a hair follicle or as unapparent as a bump on an areola can end up as a penis. Once again, sizes of these tend to be random. Testicles tend to be absent, but also aren't impossible.
The third symptom is what gave the virus its name and is by far the least predictable out of the three. This leads to the afflicted individual growing one or more dicks out of just about any imaginable orifice of their body. Anus, vagina, mouth, nipples, navel etc. The only orifice which seems to never grow any dicks is the eyes. However, this isn't where it stops. Should the victim cut itself or produce any other open wound, there is a good chance that the wound will quickly seal up, but end up growing a cock. Much to the luck of the afflicted, the body does tend to stretch and modifiy itself in order to accomodate any grown dicks that would prevent a regular person from performing basic human actions like eating, speaking or going to the toilet. One of these cope mechanisms is the dick being retractable, although this isn't the only way it can work out.
The symptoms generally leave the victim with penises, of which even the largest won't immobilize the person, but at most incovenience said person. Penises grown do tend to be on the larger side however. Most victims start growing penises of said symptoms for only a few weeks after onset of the sickness, after which they are stuck as they are. Next to no one grows so many penises that they'd end up as something that you couldn't recognize as a human. Surgery is only an option for women who exhibit the first symptom. Other symptoms are too risky to handle this way without endangering the victims life.
