Curiosity insatiable yet your instinct to get away from this dangerous open area was quite strong. Neither feeling backing down you glance back and forth spotting something dropped from the man from before. A simple empty bucket. There was an idea there, you could pick up the pink puddle in it and test it out at home in a safer place. It was clear madness but you couldn't just leave the puddle or thoughts of putting more of yourself in it for experimentation alone. That being said it was pretty difficult trying to use your new hands on your legs to work the bucket, but the puddle seemingly helped by pulling itself into it somehow sensing your intention. Getting it done you had to quickly think of how you would transport said bucket, picking it up with your hands on your feet would be easiest but that would mean trying to handstand on your new feet. Alternatively you could try just walking on your more sensitive hands and hold the bucket handle in your mouth. It didn't weigh that much.
Wanting to just get away the fastest you opt for the latter choice picking the handle of the bucket up with your mouth and rushing away on your hands as fast as you could, grimacing at the little bothers of the sidewalk going back there. Strangely the latex creatures hadn't shown themselves back to you and you make it home. Heart racing and heavy breathing having you struggle with the bucket handle in your mouth. Your home was small but homey in it's own way. First thing you did was get to your tub, feeling the soft carpet and cold tile on your hands to your enjoyment the entire way. plugging the tub up you drop the bucket in pouring the pink latex puddle in it. letting your self rest and considering your next experiment with it.
Though that had you worried... if you just dived in would it make it so you couldn't control anything or sense anything? But wouldn't that be freeing from normal life? a counter point seems to come to mind. You are left with deciding what to do next.
